Missing Caravan
Betimi begins moving through the maze of webbing at normal speed.  Tomeal calls out with a loud whisper for her to be careful but unfortunately she doesn't spot the carefully woven carpet [Rolled an 11 Spot] of web laying along her path.  Betimi tries to jump back but it's too late.  Her feet are stuck! [At H6]

[OoC: Next round as a standard action you may attempt to either break out of the web, use the escape artist skill, or attack the web.]

Not seeing a way through the web, Nacesh follows Betimi and manages to make it to [F6].  His target is just out of point blank range [35'] but he fires anyways.  The bolt rips through the thin wall of webbing and strikes one of the spiders!  There's a splash of blood and it stumbles a bit but continues to silently creep toward the struggling Kobolds.  The only thing visible are their eyes that gape in terror as they struggle in silence against the sticky webbing that has them cocooned.

Mardak charges after Betimi, exclaiming, "No worries darlin!  Help is on it's way."  He runs past Nacesh and lands himself at [G6].  Mardak grabs Betimi around the waist and pulls with all his might.  Surprisingly, he manages to rip the woman out of the webbing and tumble backward with her.  With a smile he says, "See, I told ya help was on its way!"

Jonath runs past Nacesh and then Betimi and Mardak.  He whips around the curtain of webbing and makes it to the bridge without any trouble.  Jonath then decides to charge into another curtain of web shrouding the opening to the bridge and finds himself stuck.

[OoC:  It requires either an attack, escape artist or a strength check to break through the web.  All require a standard action. You've done 2 move actions so you have to wait until next round.]

[It's now Gilley's, Selina's and Tomeal's turns.]

Current Locations of people:
Nacesh: F6
Mardak and Betimi: G6 [They will have to leave each others square ASAP]
Jonath: E8

Map update will occur at the beginning of the next round.

OOC - proxy blocks photobucket and similar stuff so stumbling around in the dark...

Nacesh reloads and attempts to fire at whichever spider is easiest to hit without endangering allies or kobolds.
Light crossbow without point blank AC [1d20+3] = 16+3 = 19 damage [1d8] = 3
OOC - advance 5ft and fire if possible to have a clear line of fire that way. Stay in place and fire if there's still a clear line of fire from current location. If neither is possible then give up the attack and do a single move in addition to loading the crossbow. Assume there's no space for clearing the chasm with a running jump so will try to find the best position on this side.

If time allows he also glances around to see if there's some extra terror coming from the OPPOSITE direction (like an amused mom spider waiting for more victims to walk into the trap)
but he's too distracted to see anything other than the two obvious opponents.
Listen [1d20+1] = 12+1 = 13 Spot [1d20+1] = 2+1 = 3

Selina sighs and rolls her eyes at Mardak.  Again.  But they were already in it,  so stealth was completely useless now.  Seeing the walls of webbing, the Priestess of Selune draws her morningstar, and attempts to cut through the webbing.

Initiatives:
21: Betimi = Purple
17: Nacesh = Red
16: Mardak = Black
9 : Jonath = Grey
9 : Gilley = Green
8 : Spiders = Red Squares
8 : Selina = Blue
6 : Tomeal = Orange

Gilley survival check doesn't really reveal any new information so he move around the wall of webbing (to 5F) then continues to follow Jonath around (To F8).

The spiders silently creep over the bodies then sink their fangs into Kobold flesh.  It's victim struggles to break free but seems too bound by the webbing to make any sound.

Selina attempts to damage the webbing but doesn't make much progress.  [Where did you target?]

Tomeal moves (To 6F) then sizes up the webbing before plowing through the curtain [At F7]!  [Web destroyed at F7]

[New Round: Betimi, Nacesh, Mardak, Jonath, and Gilley's turns]

Betimi moves cautiously at half speed through the hole that Tonreal made [F7] then steps cautiously forward 10' more feet [Through F8 to G9 at half speed]. She then takes aim and attemps to throw a crystal at one of tjhe spiders in C12 ricochetting it to the next spider.

In a mighty heave her crystal shard RIPS through one spider before lodging deeply in the next, where it then dissolves into a burning wisp of acid, further charring the second spider.

[OoC I think it is just out of 20' range increment so have slight penalty]
[e: Thrown Crystal attack [1d20+6] = 20+6 = 26-2==24!! attempt to confirm
Thrown Crystal critical confirm [1d20+6] = 18+6 = 24-2==22!!
Thrown crystal critical damage [2d6] = 12
Thrown Crystal Critical Damage [2d6] = 9 +Acid [1d6] = 3]

[OoC I have waited sooooo long to see some good rolls, I think I am ginna cry from joy]

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
