Agrh, put it back again? You want to kill me? ... Who is the next? It's your turn, Murkatos.

You certainly misunderstood, I am going down to ask him personally.

Giant goes down to the cellar. Hey Lugar, should not we try these keys first? If none of them fit into the keyhole then I will go up and put the ARM again.
He gives ENT and ARM keys to Lugar.
"Ok." Lugar tries the keys.
Both keys fit into the keyhole but Lugar can't turn either. ARM looks as if it would be a better fit but it can't be turned either.
Damned door. Maybe this fits but shrinked by a witch, what do you think? - he gives him the small key

If no solution he goes up and puts the ARM key while Lugar listens.

ooc - have somebody prot. from elements and detect magic? :-)
Lugar shrugs.  "Why not."  He tries all keys, who knows, maybe he will get lucky?
Nope, the DIN key is ridiculously small into this keyhole. It would even fit across.

When Giant goes upstairs again and places the ARM key back on its hook Lugar can clearly hear the same mechanism in action and now he's sure it comes from behind the cellar door. Maybe he could retry picking the lock.

Huh - he sighs deeply

ooc - there was no lightning now?
Nope. No lightning. You did something correctly this time Smile
Giant is scratching his bald head - Hm-hm

ooc - he did this before, I think the only difference is ENT and DIN keys are not there this time
Lugar's eyes get big as he hears a mechanism behind the door.  Giant must have reset the ARM key!  "Hey, Murkatos, it worked!  The noise came from behind the cellar door!"  He tries to open the door manually again.  If his efforts fail he tries to pick the lock again.

Open Lock (1d20=20) + 9 = 29 Big Grin

Ooc - you don't get shocked if you put a key back?? It's like Pavlov's dog.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
