Droskar's Crucible
As Larz works on Kalista he try's to recall everything he's ever heard about healing involving attacks by shadows, as he finishes dressing the wounds he finally speaks. Well Lady K I have some good news and some bad news, the good news is your going to be just fine, the bad news is it's going to take a couple days for that black hand print to fade and for your strength to come back.

Lucian focused on Kallista's wound, "Larz." He said calmly, though he was a bit concerned, "Her wound is radiating Necromantic Magic."

Since Larz had the healing covered, and the Leshy didn't want to get in the way. He examined the secret door, deciding to see if it was trapped. Also he was suupper curious about it now that he had finished exploring the scrying things.

Exploration Activity: Search to see if the door is trapped.

Larz looks over the discoloration of Kallista's skin turning it pale in the shape of the creatures hand and after considering it with his medical knowhow, he determines there should be no reason it doesnt return to normal coloration given time, just as a bruise would. Lucian however tells him its radiating necromantic energy.

Meanwhile Breezy moves over next to Dunndero and looks over the secret door there, and determines it isnt trapped.

Kallista begins putting her armor back on as the gnome finishes repairing Oriana's Shield.

Kallista knew there wasnt anything she could do about handprint at the moment so might as well continue.

Her armor reappearing at her summoning, she muttered, Nothing to be done about it right now, I can move forward. Then dusting herself off, she glanced about and waited for the others to finish with their investigation of the secret door.

Dunndero waits until the paladin is rearmored before opening the secret door.

Hmm yes, that mark is certainly worrisome. If all else fails, we can always try to put Great Aunt Matilda's secret potato and horseradish poultice on it later. It worked wonders for her foot rash! Toryn took position behind Dunndero and kept an eye out on things while the group advanced forward.

The stone wall slid open just as all the others had. This room has polished obsidian walls carved with thousands of dwarven names. across from the secret door is a set of oaken doors bound with brass bands.

Larz slowly moves into the room, without even thinking he begins  to whisper the burial chant of his God, Larz move around the obsidian walled room Finding the beginning of the carvings. Reading the dwarven words to himself as he chants, "REMEMBER THOSE HOW HAVE ENDED THEIR JOURNEY IN THIS PLACE, THE FALLEN OF DROSKAR'S CRUCIBLE. Then the names begin. So many kinsmen have passed here, slowly Larz runs the finger tips of his left hand across the walls as he walks around the room. Finding where the last name was added, Larz kneels and pulls the clan dagger from his hip, His tears of morning  finally being released carefully the dwarf attempts to carve his uncles name into the obsidian, then in parentheses he adds (THE GLINT AXE) Then Larz stands and rubs the back of his hand across his eyes. as he walks past the group he grumbles. Damn dust got in me eyes

Unable to hold back a snort, Kallista waved a hand, You keep ole Great auntie Matilda's remedies from me, the last time you used one of those my hair turned green for a month, Then sword in hand, she creped toward the open secret entrance.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
