Benji squeezed out of the entrance tunnel and jumped into the thick of battle, the rotten stench of ghoul flesh barely registering for the kobold at all. Hells, he had smelled fouler creations before in a cheese festival's outhouse. He put a finger to his snout in a hushing motion and began to weave his magic. They says ghoulies are smart undead, but I still sees the same dum-dum zombie behavior. Always going "BRAINZ" and "GUTZ" immediately; no "hi Benji! Nice day Benji! May I chew your butt please Benji?".

You needs to relax a little, yeah?

Save vs Stench: 1d20+8 26
Action 1: Stride
Action 2+3: Casting Calm (10' burst, DC 20 Will save)

(OOC: casting Calm on whatever area catches the most enemies in the spell)

"Bluugh! These creatures are foul!", exclaims Robsen as he retches the taste of bile while he shakes their stink from his nose, before quickly regaining his concentration, raising his bow firing two arrows into the closest ghoul (#7) moving in on Aquila.

Actions:
1. Recovery Retching Action: Fort Save =[1d20 +10]=19+10=29 (Recovered!)
2.Move Action: Move 17' south to see ghouls.
3. Precise Comp Longbow Shot Attack Action: Precise Comp Longbow Attack =[1d20+11]=9+11=20 (Hit!), Precise Comp Longbow Damage =[2d8+1]=10+1=11 Damage.

Cutter ducks spins to the side then thrusts his hand out at the ghoul he just stabbed, sending a bolt of force into his chest blowing a hole completely thru it. Then in one fluid movement the elf dives past the ghoul along side him, turning mid dive he again drives his rapier into one of the retched creatures. His strike is true his rapier going in the back of the ghouls skull and out its throat dropping it on the spot. Come on lets finish these nasty creatures.

Actions
1 cast force barrage at ghoul 8
2 tumble thru ghoul
3 hit with rapier

Cutter casts a quick spell on the ghoul he stabbed and destroyed it then rolled past a ghoul trying to grab him and puts his back to a flat 2' high rock with bones on it as he comes around and slashes through the chest of the ghoul he just passed. It crumbled to the ground, its unlife gone. Chip pointed out to Robsen what Cutter was doing excitedly.

Eloric moved up and considered what to do...and as he was, he realized all the Ghouls were Goblins. Which he found curious. He considered what that meant. He couldnt find anything when he considered what he knew regarding the Occult or Religion...but magic wise, knowing that Nualia had employed Goblins in her assault...They must have been cursed with undeath for their failure....maybe to continue her vengeance? He expressed his thoughts.

Cade scowled at how hurt Aquila looked and he focused his connection to his primal connection and sent a burst of vitality into the Raptor Most of its wounds healed quickly. He knew he would have to spend 10 minutes meditating to reestablish that connection, but for now.. He gave the Raptor a command to continue to attack the undead.

Aquila Sanpped at the ghoul shed bitten before, but it pulled back away from her. so she jumped forward slashing with her leg talons but she slipped on the shale on the floor and missed, almost falling over.

The First ghoul reached out to try and grab Aquila while staring at the succulent halfling. Its claws scraped across the scales of its shoulder but couldnt get a grip as the dinosaur twisted away. Then the ghoul tried to bite her, but only bit empty air.  The Ghoul that cutter had just flipped away from, followed him and two claws tried to get to him. one connected barely scraping his arm. Khaymen saw the ghoul he was fighting grab at him and avoided it, but walked into the other reaching claw that held him for a split second as it tried to bite him,  the teeth clacking together where he was as he moved away from it. A ghoul shifted to its right to attack Merika and did manage to sink one set of claws into the Lizardman's body. The Ghoul that had been injured by Aquila before backaed away and moved to a flat rock nearby and grabbed up the body of a dead person and chewed a chunk of flesh off and chewed it . swallowing it twice...and to your dismay you saw some of the flesh Aquila had torn off be replaced. Khaymen watched a ghoul move next to him and reach out to grab him, its claws slashing along his calf. but he jerked his leg away from its grasp. Cutter sensed more than saw the ghoul coming behind him and avoided one claw, but couldnt the other as it sunk its claws through his armor into his body and held on. He could feel a burning but more from the pain of the grasp than a toxin.

Robsen vomited all over the wall and shook his head, then wanting to move forward he saw a Ghoul had moved into his sight, and he loosed a double arrow shot followed by a single arrow, that pierced the creatures eye socket and snuffed out its unlife force.

Benji slipped past Cade and moved against the wall as the song he had started continued without him

One, something's got to give
Two, something's got to give
Three, something's got to give now

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Then the lithe Kobold spoke some very calming words and he found 4 Ghouls stopped their aggression and just stared at him.

Khaymen took advantage of it and cut the heads off've two of them and moved forward to help Cutter.

Merika attacks the ghoul to Khaymen's left, slashing through its body, but not dropping it, and it snapped out of the calming effect of Benjis magic. Still one stood staring at the copper Kobold.

Benji maintained focus on the spell keeping one of the ghouls docile. He pointed a finger at another nearby ghoul as slivers of metal sloughed off of the dagger hanging from the kobold's belt and launched themselves at the enemy. In a stroke of luck, one dart managed to hit the undead straight through its eye.

Merika let out a growl of his own as he lashed out his stance low to the ground as he used his claws in rapid succession to strike at the ghoul he felt one find purchase and rip into rotted flesh successfully. The sensation did not fill him with joy but he did enjoy the sensation of a devastating blow striking. The lizardfolk moved to find another target as he felt the one he was fighting drop.

Cutter tried to jerk his way free from the Ghouls Grasp and failing, quickly pulled a potion and downed it feeling some of his wounds healed. On Robsons shoulder Chip became animated as he felt Cutters distress.

Eloric moved around the cave entrance next to Aquila and with a pat on the head of the dinosaur, he pointed a finger at the Ghoul healing by eating dead flesh and a bolt of force jumped in and out of phase at it darted toward the ghoul and blew a hole in its chest.

Cade glanced at the Ghoul Merika had been injuring and with a quick savage slash of a hand, a gust of severe wind slashed across the dead flash ripping it open and dropping it to the floor and commanded Aquila to attack pointing at the Ghoul holding Cutter, The Raptor move quickly to through the low cavern and snapped the creatures spine as she bit it with precise force.

The remaining ghoul stared at Benjy its eyes glazed over with only calmness in its undead brain.

Robsen moved into the cave in front of Merika and put an arrow through each of the calm ghouls eyesockets and watched as it fell to the floor.

All the ghouls destroyed, the group paused and looked at each other...and they could hear a low chanting coming from a nearby chamber in Goblin.

Benjy's song continued to play...

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
