Dunndero gulps and heads across the room either the group after letting out a gulp of trepidation.

Advancing down the hall to the north, the group comes to the first insection and theres a set of doors after 10 feet.

Lucian watched as Toryn sorted out the magnetic trap. The gnome was clearly a professional and didn't need Lucian's instruction. Not that the battlemage had much to offer him in the way of assistance with that particular vocation.  Still, Toryn was an expert trapfinder and that alone was worth the parties weight in gold.

As they continued down the hall after the trap was sorted out, Lucian continued to sense for magic. When they arrived at the next door, he nods to Toryn and gestures for him to give it an inspection before entering.  The main concern was not leaving enemies behind them. Even though the Vargouilles were very likely trapped, it still made him uneasy.

The group edges around the corner into the hall before the door and Toryn moves forward looking over the door and seeing nothing that would indicate the door was trapped.

Dunndero will move into his position at the door awaiting the groups signal to open the door and proceed through.

Lets see what's behind door number one Dundero, having suggested they proceed the young cleric raises his shield.

Hearing Larz's command Dunndero opens the door and moves through the doorway into the room beyond.

Dunderro opened the door and stepped into the room looking around. Group could see this large chamber once functioned as the living quarters of an important dwarf. In one corner stands a simple stone bed. Its blankets tattered and worn away. Across the room from it a narrow table . Finally across from that a large anvil. Against the wall behind the anvil stood a somewhat out of place statue of a dwarf holding a Maul in the air like it was preparing to strike the anvil. Atop the anvil rests the skeleton of a dwarf, its head crushed.

On the work table stood a 6" tall winged grayish green humanoid devoid of hair with glowing red eyes and a fanged mouth. As the door opened Its eyes glowed brightly and the statue began to move.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
