Chapter 1: Hollows Last Hope
Toryn clambered up onto the shelf for a better view as a small wave of undead spilled forth into the armory and pulled out his trusty sling. While nothing more than a length of corded rope with a leather cup in the center, slings were deceptively dangerous weapons, even when wielded by someone of delicate strength such as Toryn, as he was about to demonstrate. The gnome whirled the sling over his head and let loose the stone that was nestled in the center, beaning one of the undead smack dab in the forehead and shattering its skull completely.

Action 1: Interact drawing a sling
Action 2: Sling Attack: 1d20+7 19
Bullet Damage: 1d6-1 4 damage
Action 3: Reload Sling

Ripping her arm free from the skeleton's bony grip, Oriana assesses the situation quickly as the room here and beyond is swarming with these undead.

Twirling around the animated bones to take a quick step towards the previously secret door, the kineticst overflows her elemental gate once more to swallow both rooms with crushing waves.

Actions:
1st: Step to the doorway.
2nd & 3rd: Tidal Hands, two 15 ft cones that don't overlap. One going south to hit all the skeletons in the first room, and the other going into the eastern room hitting all/as many skeletons as possible (think I can hit them all). DC 17 basic reflex saves or take 1d8 bludgeoning damage. Crit fails push them back 5ft as well.

Oriana took stock of the situation and stepped in front of Dunndero standing over the bones of the one he just smashed and noticed that Toryn was slightly off, not seeing all of them...there were 8 Skeletons....well 7 now, and she instantly pulled water from her gate and as they had seen with the wolves, they saw again, twin blasts of water smashed into the skeletons. Outright crushing 4 of the 7 remaining, and severely damaging the other three pushing two of them backwards into the cell block.

Lucian propelled a bock of stone at the one remaining out of the cell block and missed stone chips flying.

Larz was preparing to swing at the one two his front, but the barrage of water took it down. so he projected positive energy into the one still standing outside and blasted into oblivion. Then he moved next to Oriana.

Toryn wung his sling and sent a stone flying past Dunndero and Oriana into the boney head of the first skeleton pushed back by the torrent of water. It pierced its skull and the red orbs dimmed to emtpy sockets as it crumbled to the ground.

The remaining skeleton showed no sign it had been damaged nor any slight amount of fear as it stalked forward and reached to Grab at Oriana. scraping against her outstretched hand. It clawed at her a second time but she pulled back from its reach.

Satoru and Arielle inched forward and listened intently to try and figure out what was going on and couldnt tell in the cramped quarters.

With no room to rush in and use her maul, Harley quickly pulled her dagger and threw it over Oriana's shoulder. It hit the skeletons skull and the undead collapsed in a shower of bones. Since they were all destroyed it was easy to retrieve her weapon.

End Combat.

Lucian let out a tired breath. "Well - at least that fight was a little less bracing.  Everyone still in one piece?"

the skeletons lay in piles of bones, the tatters of their clothing and jewelry lay with them. Why they had been locked away and how they animated after death a mystery for now.

Hero Points to Toryn, Dunndero,  Oriana and Harley.

Satoru and Arielle make their way forward and look at the piles of bones.  Skeletons.  "Well, good riddance.  Well done, you lot.  Took care of it long before I could react."

Satoru kneels going through the asundry things the skeletons possessed during their imprisonment. He finds about 5 gold worth of minor jewelry. rings, necklaces, bracelets etc. One Ring catches his eye. Its a simple Gold Ring with a large red gemstone set in it that sparkles with an inner fire.

“Ale desate’un, Satoru porovi?”  (“Have we stooped to grave-robbing, dear Satoru?”)

Satoru rolls his eyes by way of response and places most of the jewelry aside, focusing instead on the simple, gold ring with the sparkly gemstone.  He tilts his head and focuses briefly, sending out a pulse of sensory magic.

Action 1: Arielle quips.
Action 2: Satoru ignores her.
Action 3: Satoru casts Detect Magic.

The ring does indeed have the feel of something magical, and close examination shows inset in the gem a carving of an anvil.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
