Chapter 1: Hollows Last Hope
Larz moves across the room Larz pauses beside Oriana Thanks for the healing Lady Oriana.  Then as he moves to the closed door he adds.  I could use a little back up checking out this room over here if you gals are feeling up t0 it. After asking for help he walks up to the door listening at it before opening the door and looking into the room behind it.

From the Armory the group hears Dunnderos shout that he found a concealed door and hes trying to figure out how to open it.

Meanwhile Breezy sees and hears nothing unusual watching the stairs,

Larz moves to the side door from the chapel, looks it over and listens, hearing nothing and then opens the door. It enters into the side of a room in shambles. What once was a library is now a shattered mess with one corner being completely collapsed aond soaked in a wide pool of stagnant water. Support columns kept part of the roof in tact, though part is laying within the room. Thick Fungus grows on most the remaining books and shelves lining the walls. Stepping into the room he can see outside through the west wall to the forest beyond the fetid water and collapsed wall. To the east is a doorway back into the hall and beyond a door to another room.

Lucian nodded to Larz with a grin, "That sounds like a plan my friend. Nights falling fast and this spot looks like the best we've seen to hunker down in so far."  He looks over the anvil trying to see if he can detect any vestiges of magic still remaining.  As well, he tries to determine if the anvil is within their power to repair.

Detect Magic on the Anvil.

Standing there, her maul hefted on one shoulder, Harley waited patiently for the others to choose a course of action. She could feel her rage still and the desire to go pelting down those stairs to smash some kobolds was still strong, but she reigned it in having no desire to be the reason for her companions getting hurt or killed.

Lucian regarded the Anvil for a second, and he felt the magic imbued within it strongly. The defacing of it did nothing to destroy the enchantment placed on it. It just made the look of it less unpleasant to those that disregarded Torags teachings. Meanwhile It appeared that Larz was thinking of exploring the library as he stepped into the room and began to look closer at the shelves. Up to this point he hadnt disturbed anything nor looked at the books. who knows what he would find if he did.

Lucian sighed in relief and called over to Larz,  "Well - Some good news at least.  The Anvil works just fine despite the surface damage to it. If we can find those stones, then this baby should work like a charm."  With that he moved over to where Larz was and started to help the cleric locate the anvil stones as best he could or anything else of interest.

Toryn followed Dunndero's voice back to the armory to see what the jolly green fellow had uncovered. He eyed the revealed door appraisingly, giving it a knock here and a sniff there, working the handle a bit, before grunting in satisfaction. The gnome then pulled out a small, rolled up piece of canvas and unfurled it on a nearby shelf, revealing a well-maintained thieves' treasure hunter's kit. Lockpicking was a delicate business, and Toryn worked the mechanisms with surprising finesse and patience; no doubt he was already daydreaming of what was squirreled away behind this mysterious door.

Toryn moved into the armory and looked at the wall where Dunndero pointed and studied it for a bit, then moved aside a fauz brick metallic panel exposing a lock and unlocked it using his picks . There was a noise of release as air was released from an area that had not been opened in years. The stench of death was profound as the door opened revealing a hidden prison. a short walkway ended in a wall but to the right were three closed cells; each holding 2 dwarven skeletons that when the door opened arose and gripped cell bars, the doors swinging open because the locks were long ago rusted away.

Toryn started coughing and gagging up a storm as the rancid air assaulted his nostrils like an avalanche of goblin farts. He rubbed the tears from his eyes and squinted into the room, only to go wide-eyed with horror as he saw the undead rise up and break free from their cells.

The gnome closed the door as quickly as he opened it and whirled around to face Dunndero. I don't mean to alarm, but it seems we may have interrupted someone's beauty sleep. Six skeletons to be more precise!

Action 1: Interact with door to close it
Action 2: Recall Knowledge (religion): 1d20+3 11
Action 3: Stride 10 feet to the left behind Dunndero

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
