The First Mission - (Chapter 1)

[Aaron Brand]

A dragon, a mage, a mutant, and two big stupid fighters. All we need now is an elf and we'll have ourselves our very own fantasy quest party. Ha! Aaron laughed but then grew serious. The Coalition is nothing if not pragmatic. It's willing to invest major resources into genetically enhanced child soldiers; wouldn't surprise me to learn that there is a secret magic research facility hidden away somewhere.

It's all above my pay-grade though. You point, I shoot. Life's simpler that way.

[Viego]

Viego nods, "I was going to that the sisters and the dog boys are designed to kill things like us. We should be very careful around them.. Not sure who they are aware of and who they aren't though." Here Viego goes up to Marcus and nudges him carefully.

[Marcus Brand]

Marcus glances up at Viego, sighs and nods. "Yea. I'd like to hope the girls already knew. But I'm not entirely sure. The Emperor and his generals know, that's almost for certain. The dogboys do what their told plain and simple. Regardless we will need to be cautious around all of them until we get an idea of what their goals are." 

"For now I think we should just finish up the mission.  Our world is the same, we are just seeing it with a bit more detail now. All we can do is take one step at a time until we can find our footing again."

[Viego]

Viego sighs nodding, and then smiles a big dumb smile. "Well I guess all those cliche's about war buddies are true. The circle of trust just got set, and its important to remain the same size it is i guess." He nods towards the Nolan, Sarge, and the brothers. Showing he trusted them.

[Marcus Brand]

Marcus sighs and nods toward the town hall. "We might as well go see what he was talking about. Any objections LT? Sarge?"

[Nolan Randall]

"Just a moment."

Nolan then openly casts sense evil followed by armor of Ithan. Once those are cast he nods that he is ready and proceeds towards the town hall

[MSgt Khayman Tamaroa]

Might as well, let's get this shit show over with, the Master Sergeant said, as he holstered his gun and made for the town hall.

[Viego]

Viego studies the Lt. as he casts two spells.  "Huh" he says "I think I understood what you just did that is.. odd. I might have to consider learning more about that later."  that said he turns and heads into the building.

[Marcus Brand]

Marcus nods to the LT and takes point.  He moves over toward the town hall and listens at the door.  Then checks to see if it's unlocked but doesn't try to open it yet.

[DM Spiral]

Marcus tries the door and it is, in fact, unlocked.  He doesn't hear anything inside the building either.  Viego stops right behind him as Marcus checks the door.  His senses don't pick up anything out of the ordinary either.

(DM - Anyone else moving up to the door? What are we doing?)
