[IC] Gemeris Station [Everyone]
Moving along..

Ubi turns the ship onto a trajectory that is at an angle to the customs frigate, and you continue forward.  [OoC moving at a rate of 2 squares per move (4 squares per round)]

After a tense moment you realize the customs frigate is changing course to match. [OoC moving at 4 squares per move (8 squares per round)]

Next round?

Watching from the Command Chair, Korstyn notes aloud "Well, they do seem interested, don't they?  Maybe we should make sure we aren't carrying any contraband."

"I think we ARE the contraband. That and we have a snub fighter and a rack full of concussion missiles."

"Maybe we should get someone into that snub fighter, ready to launch. Keep it in the hangar until we know their intent, but if it comes to a fight.."

She leaves the rest unsaid.

Korstyn's eyes widen slightly...beneath the mask of her helm...and she smiles a little.  "Going toe-to-toe with an Imp vessel?  Oh, I like you.  When do we start?"

"They may not give us a choice. We certainly don't have the speed to outrun them at sub-light. We do need to make sure they don't call for help if we ARE going to fight."

"I for one don't think we want to let them board us and inspect."

"We got a jamming suite on this thing?"

No one has checked.

[[I'm asking someone who knows about such things, if they be in the current par-tay.]]

"Since Zero is busy with charting a course so I guess I will check..."

[Jendu will check for a jamming suite.  Doesn't it only take 1 minute to astrogate?  How long has it been since we stopped?]

It has been about 4 rounds, including the last round of movement. The customs frigate obviously knows approximately where any ship will normally drop out of hyperspace to switch hyperlanes.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
