The First Mission - (Chapter 1)
---Everyone---

The group enters the inn, With a quick look around , they all notice the common room is fairly spread out.  There are two corner tables that would offer a good advantage to see the comings and goings.  Conversely the bar that would virtually keep everyone's back to the door.  There are four people in here,  all four seem to be drinking somberly.  There are four flatscreen TV's playing random broadcasts from Chi-town.  Two screens have football (Soccer) and battleball (American Football, though a bit rougher), the last one has a mixed martial arts fight playing.  None of the four customers seem to be be looking at the screens.  The only one paying attention is the Barkeeper who is downing a large glass of whiskey while he watches the fight.  Its the only one with sound on, the other three screens are silenced. 

(DM - Everyone roll Perception and Intelligence (The skill if you have it, not I.Q.)  You can attempt both unskilled, the target is under your I.Q. score)
Marcus nods toward one the corner tables, and replies to the LT as though he were Marcus' elderly grandfather. "One of those Tables are good pops." 

Then he moves over to order a round of beers from the bartender as he was the first human he saw not drooling in his drink.

Perception vs 48%: 1d100 = 35
Intelligence vs 40%: 1d100 = 42
Aaron slid into a chair and put his hands behind his head, giving the bar a quick once-over.

Perception 66%: 1d100 68
Intelligence 30%: 1d100 35
Perception 41%: 1d100=27

Intelligence Untrained: 1d100=87 (Failed)


Viego goes in last to the bar. He looks around then as ordered he moves to the side of the door putting himself out of the way for incoming people if anyone wanted to come in. He leans agains the wall, making sure he doesn't have a window to his back. He posts up, and tries to look like he is fascinated by the TV closest to him.
Slipping into a chair, his back firmly against the wall, he let his right hand rest lazily upon the C-5 pistol holstered at his hip as he waited for his drink to be delivered. 

Perception 47%: 1d100 4
Intelligence 39%: 1d100 [b]60[/b]
The old man totters to a seat at the table indicated by Marcus. He sits patiently idly looking around while waiting for the young man to deliver his beer.

When he sees Khayman's hand stray to his gun, he gives a slight shake of his head.  "I don't believe this is that kind of bar son."

He is well aware they are likely be being watched by more eyes than are in this room. 

Espionage - Perception [1d100]=49 vs. 66%
Espionage - Intelligence [1d100]=62 vs. 58%

All four the soldiers notice that the bartender's hands are shaking like leaves and he doesn't have the same spaced out look the patrons do.  He downs a shot of whiskey and takes a hard drink of his beer to chase it. 

He clearly seems not to be affected by the mind control, but after looking around the bar for almost a minute, none of them and piece much else together.  The only clear things are he is not mind controlled, but he is also scared out of his mind and keeps glancing at the door.
Muttering under his breath as he noticed the expression on the bartenders face, I don't know old man, I think this is exactly where my hand needs to be. As he quietly flicked the release from his holster, though made no other moves then that.
Aaron stared at the bartender with a mixture of curiosity and concern. Hey uh...the barkeep's not acting like a puppet. He's shaking fast enough to give a vibro-blade a run for it's money though.

Want me to chat him up? Maybe we can calm him down before he has a stroke. He's gotta know something useful.
Viego stood by the door trying to look bored, and inattentive. While he was really keeping an eye on the other patrons and trying to make sure to keep an eye to see if anyone was coming in behind him.
