The First Mission - (Chapter 1)
#81
Viego grumbled to himself about the couldn't do anything comment from the psi-stalker displaying that he is sti young and likes to be complimented. Which the psi-stalkers are notorious for not doing. "Could have cauderized the wound maybe.." he shrugs then moving on, and whistles his appreciation for Marcus's strike.

I have a question, actually. Aaron raised his hand, an old habit from the classroom, gave his hand a disapproving look, then lowered it. In all seriousness, what if things don't go perfectly? I like to believe that I can jump on command every time but we all have our off-moments.
#83
Marcus laughed when he stepped back on the sidelines, "That was a solid hit.  I've never split one in half like that before."
#84
It is Nolan who answers Aaron.

"Then you fall." He states flatly.

"You fellows may not actually be used to that, but eventually we all fall down. What the Emperor will be most interested in is how you deal with it. Will you get back up, or won't you?"

---Everyone---

A familiar voice reaches everyone's ears.  A voice that immediately puts everyone's hearts in their throats.

"Very Well put Lieutenant Randall." The voice of the Emperor was unmistakable. Everyone turns to see Emperor Prosek standing in full armor with his high Command just behind him.  "Luckily we arrived just in time to see our young men demonstrate their talents admirably.  If at a bit of a safe distance." The emperor of the Coalition chuckled and his high command laughed with him.

Among the high Command, everyone recognizes the Emperor's oldest son, Joseph Prosek also in full armor.

And six others none of you immediately recognize, but they are also in dress uniform, save the last man who is in light Coalition armor.

Behind this group everyone recognizes the Emperor's wife. She is dressed in a white elegant dress suit, surrounded by a fully armed and armored elite Deadboy squad.

The Three Psi-Stalkers immediately drop to one knee with their heads bowed.

Hearing the Emperor's voice, he said some unintelligible, though obviously vulgar and turned back toward the practice field. Several strides in and he barked out a command to his three charges, ordering them to salute the leader of the Coalition in proper fashion, before snapping off a requisite acknowledgement to Prosek. You grace us with your presence Emperor.

Viego was caught off guard for a moment, but he quickly snapped out of it. He did his best to stand up straight, and even snapped off a proper salute. As he did so he resisted the urge to eye the crowd of high command he didn't know. He also avoided making eye contact with Joseph Prosek, he was not a fan of the Emperors son. He gave Viego an odd feeling, and he was pretty sure he was the man responsible for so many of the other children disappearing, which kind of made him a boogey-man to Viego. He always made sure he was polite to him, but the guy just creeped out Viego.
#88
Nolan instantly snaps to attention and salutes. He remains at attention until he is told to be at ease.
#89
Marcus snaps to attention with a salute and remains there until told to be at ease.
#90
Aaron followed suit and snapped off a salute, eyes straight ahead and face serious, though marginally more relaxed than Marcus. He too held attention until ordered otherwise.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
