[OoC: According to Roll20 that's 55' of movement.  You still have 5' of movement if you want to use it. ]

Moving [to M9] lets Eva see half of the western wall.  When everyone came into the room you were in combat so you didn't notice anything other that it was basically just a black wall.  But now it seems it wasn't a black wall at all.  It was a giant observation 'window'.  And outside the habitat zone has changed...  the ceiling has taken on the appearance of a strangely red sky with gray clouds and a red sun of some alien world.  The sand in the zone blows gently across the ground indicating a light breeze moving through the valley.

Eva nods and moves forward inside the room to find the best view of the giant observation window. Perhaps she spots something.

Eva's perception: [1d20+7]=11+7=18

Do you want to search the whole room or can we go forward first? (ooc - how much time do we have left?)

"The duration of the water breathing was a little more than four and a half hours.  My guess is we've been down here at least an hour and a half, maybe 2 hours.  Even being generous by giving ourselves an hour to get back, we should still have one and a half to two hours before the spell ends.  We have plenty of time to search this room."

Perception [1d20+8]=9+8=17

[Assuming you search the room...]

A large metal table is surrounded by odd-looking chairs in this room. To the west, what appears to be a transparent wall looks out over a strange desert valley.  Four pillars support the fifteen foot-high ceiling, while dozens of crude images of a pickaxe made of a skull and bones have been painted onto the walls with some sort of ivory pigment along with several phrases in an unrecognizable language.

You do find that the head of the table facing the 'window' has a glowing panel that lights up when when your hand touches the area. [Like a touch screen]  It has 9 smaller boxes set inside 1 large box.  If you mess around with the buttons you find the three along the bottom either dim the lights in the room or turn them on or off.  Any of the other buttons that are touched except one switch the wall to a static display.  The one working button returns the the wall to the same view of the strange desert valley.  This would seem to suggest their might be other cameras that display different views of the valley but they aren't working.

[You can make a knowledge Religion check DC 17. ]

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
