[IC] Gemeris Station [Everyone]
Jendu greets everyone...

With the way 'Pretty Boy' was spoken, even though the masking, Jendu couldn't help but be reminded of the prison.  And being the bright [Int 14] and intuitive [Wis 14] young man that he was, it took only seconds for him to remember...

"Korstyn," he says out loud before he can stop himself.  "Is that you under all that metal?"

[OoC: I didn't mean thematically for a Mando, I meant thematically for her in particular.  In any case, I've taken a good, solid look at the class and the benefits and drawbacks.  Offhand, it's mid-range BAB and the associated d8 HD, which is the only real problem.  Other than that, the granted abilities are really sweet and the Talents, besides being awesome themselves, blend very well with it.  Would make her really versatile too, which I prefer over the turtle some of the Elite Warrior trees would make her.  Fluff-wise, she's also already a Tech Specialist and an armorer, as she's modified her own Beskar'gam considerably, so I think that settles it.]

The Mandalorian turns her head back to look at the tall glass of charisma.  "You know any other Mandalorians, kid?"  She does not, however, take her helm off.  Far too many unknown faces here for her to be so trusting.  "So I guess you're my buyer, then."

[OoC Jendu for his knowledge is niot the buyer.. the money is coming from some wealthier senators and worlds.. he is merely the envoy/messenger.. the Atrivis Resistance group is not yet part of the Alliance to Restore the Republic so no the backers are not Mon Mothma or Bail Organa either.. FYI @Jendu Verbenti you need to come up with what planet you are Senator of.. you can pick any planet that is existing to be a junior senator or create your own planet to be teh full Senator of.. it would explainyour wealth talent nicely.. if you need help start by deciding what region your planet/system is in:
The Core
The Colonies
The Inner Rim
The Expansion Region
The Mid Rim
The Outer Rim

Then decide what sector.
You are currently in the Outer rim in the 'north west' of the known galaxyin Atrivis Sector.. there are perhaps a dozen mapped out systems in legends/canon in this sector, but actually hundreds if not thousands of systems.. like the Bisat system and Bisay IV are my own invention.. you won't find any lore on them.

Woryn clears his throat, and looks at Korstynn, "I believe while the captains negotiate their trade of ships, you and I and the Senator had to finish our discussion of the job? Shall we retire to the village, I for one am starving."

You are currently in an interview regarding a possible job, for a bounty. You are meeting with Woryn Maral, a Cerean diplomat who is offering a bounty for the safe rescue of  Sym Alvira, a Kian'thar from Shaum Hii.

He apparently has some information that might be of use to the Rebels, if they can act on it. These rebels have actually no idea what the information might be, but it is valuable enough that the Empire has sent out a contract through the Bounty Hunters Guild offering 1,500 credits for proof of his elimination.

Woryn has made a counter offer, also with the Bounty Hunters Guild of 4,000 credits for him to be brought to safety, where the Rebels can hide him.

They had spent time in a prison together on a mission to rescue an apparent jedi knight, before she discovered her own Force powers. Before she had earned her beskar'gam.

"I hope you don't mind, but he was just curious about you all."

[[Perhaps you can understand my confusion, but it was made to seem that Tibbs was one who offered the contract in the first place.]]

[OoC he was, but he is the envoy not the source of the money, understand?  He brought the message and thefunds to these Rebels, the Rebels made the choice to use it to hire a bounty hunter rather than send their own men, as they are.. ahem.. spread too thin already.  'Tibbs wants the man rescued, to find out why the Empire just randomly placed a bounty on his head and labelled him a traitor/rebel

FYI Jendu's player is learning this all as we go too as I flesh out a sound reason for him to be here and get involved in my head]

[OoC: Do you know how many worlds are in Star Wars?  If you have a suggestion, feel free to make it.  I was playing with the idea of keeping it simple and familiar like, Alderaan or Bespin.

[[I would not recommend Vorpa’ya or anywhere else in the Mandalorian cluster. Tongue]]

That was my poiunt, if you want a known planet you would likely be ta Junior Senator, and I would avoid planets like Alderaan or you'd be too closely tied to known personalities. In the case of Alderaan that would be Bail Organa, and by extension Leia Organa. So to help me in my ideas.. if you want to be a senator/or Junior Senator from a known planet  would you prefer a larger world, very inhabited higher population or a smaller planet, less populated.    The smaller the planet, the higher rank you would be in Senator status for that planet.  A major planet like Alderaan you'd be more like an assistant to a junior Senator. A mid size planet, like Bespin (pop 6,000,000; so 1/1000th of Earth) you'd be a junior Senator.  A small planet (example Tatooine (pop 200,000) you would be the one and only Senator.  So that is one factor.  Another factor is would you prefer a more urban, agrarian, industrial, or natural world?  High human population, highly mixed population? Or mostly alien population?

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
