[OoC: To speed things up, when you've forgotten information like an inn name or there's information that your character would know and you're not sure, you can just post something like, "I tell them the name of the Inn."  Or in this case you could say, "I will tell him what what I know about what happened to the Wildcard."  Sometimes you might have to elaborate but since you personally weren't around for that information the GM will usually understand and accept that you told him.  The only people that know anything about the Wildcard is Ubi, Dez (I think) and Long (who ran off with the Wildcard to save himself).  Shunna know's bits and pieces but not everything.  So she's going to let Ubi handle this since these are his friends and it's about his ship.]

[OoC: Thanks for the advice Shunna]
Ubi will tell him what he knows of what happened to the Wildcard.

Shunna will then add, "We came into possession of the Imperial ship because we 'borrowed' it to make our escape from a forced labor mine located inside an asteroid.  I staged a jailbreak and managed to escape with these people and droids.  Their former Droid companion, Long, left a repeating beacon telling Ubi where to go to find the Wildcard.  Since the Droid didn't leave any coordinates, I assume so they couldn't use the beacon to track us back here, Ubi figured this place is where he meant.  We are willing to sell or trade the Imperial Shuttle for something that can blend in a little better.  I'm sure you must have some use for an Imperial shuttle for your special missions or for parts."

Ubi starts at the beginning. You had been sent to meet and retrieve a bothan informant, who had reached out via the Bothan SpyNet with information. You successfully met him at te rendezvous, had taken him aboard and were headed back to these coordinates in hyperspace. That is when things went wrong, the human Karrett, your engineer, sabotaged the hyperdrive, dropping you out of hyperspace, right into an Imperial trap, which had obviously been planned. During the ensuing fight he managed to kill Lee'ack, and almost killed the bothan.  By the time you dealt with him you were under attack by a group of TIE fighters.  You managed to flee towards a dense asteroid field around a gravitational anomaly (the Minefield) You were rescued by a lone pilot in a Z95 Headhunter (turned out to be Shunna), who was then shot down herself, but that allowed you to escape.  You managed to limp your very badly damaged Wildcard to an asteroid mining facility. (the Rock)    While there you were rescued from a gang of thugs at the cantina who apparently wanted to take over your ship by Dez (the bartender) and Long (a random droid that was bussing tables at the cantina). Turned out both Long and Dez also wanted off the Rock and were willing to sign on as crew. You also found out that the pilot that had rescued you (Shunna) had been 'rescued' and sold to the Miner's Guild beneath the Rock. You and Dez set off to rescue her and left Long to begin repairs on your ship.

Dez and Ubi had descended into the bowels of the Rock to the 'lower cantina' where the free miners gathered, you made arrangements with FOGF, the droid bartender there to guide you to the slave pens.

FOG did indeed lead you to the slave pens, only to meet with Shunna and a bunch of slaves who had escaped and revolted (including Njon, the talz who had beeen one of the thugs that you had fought in the cantinba, apparently flipped sides when his master just allowed him to take teh fall for attacking you earlier.

During your escape attempt there was a massive explosion somewhere above in the Rock facility. You later found out that was Long blasting his way out when the Rocks guards tried to blast their way into your ship.   That cut off your planned escape route, .

FOG then led you straight into an ambush with an Imperial ISB agent named Kratos, and a squad of stormtroopers, who had come to the Rock looking for you. It turned out that FOG ran a fighting pit televised to the Holonet and figured he could broadcast the fight between you and the troopers. He didn't care which side won, he was going for the subscribers and money.  The great thing for you is that the station guards ended up gunning down Kratos. You just leave Shunna tossing stormtroopers around with a wave of her hand as inconsequential.
Dez got separated from the group before that, but was rescued by Zero in the med-bay when they wanted him to attach a slave collar including a bomb.

The group destroyed FOG and escaped the fighting pit, fighting  not just the stormtroopers, but then the station security forces, and then FOGs favorite pet.. a Kintan Strider. you met up with Dez and Zero in the stations power reactor (where Zero set the system to perform a timed restart) fought off more  guards and captured an aqualish tech that had a datapad controlling all the slave control collars..  you disabled those, probably causing even further chaos as more slaves were freed as a result, and the more dangerous ones to boot.

Zero then led you to where the Imperials must have docked, to avoid the main docking facility and public scrutiny. A secret landing pad usually used by the stations 'mayor' Holon Veil. There you found the station security forces in a firefight with the remaining stormtroopers and imperial security droids  who were trying to remove the docking clamps so the shuttle could escape  out of the Minefield and rejoin their carrier.  You got through the guards, defeated the remaining Imperials and freed the shuttle, spacing a large portion of the station security forces (as well as one ally who was trapped on the other side of enemy lines when Zero's power failure kicked in.

The power failure shut down the stations turbolasers long enough for you to get out of range, where you found the upper torso and head of Ubis old nattle droid having been converted into a recorded message beacon.  The droid Long advised that he was unable to get back to the Rock to rescue you due to the turbolasers and that he couldn't safely stay in the asteroid field for long, nor could he linger outside the asteroid field as there was a star destroyer loitering out there. His message said he was taking the Wildcard to the last hyperspace coordinates in your nav computer. As far as you know, that would be here.

You then flew through the asteroid field in the stolen shuttle, saw the star destroyer and managed to jump to hyperspace before they realized you were not Kratos and his troopers. That was about 13 hours ago.

"A trade?  That is certainly an idea..  I assume you disabled the transponder so the Imperials could not track it?"

"I wasn't flying the ship, but I assume someone would have.  They said, they were the most skilled or best suited for the position they chose.  But I'm pretty sure I was told that they couldn't track us through hyperspace."  Shunna turns to look at the others who were piloting the ship while she was watching the prisoner.  "Was it shut off?"

[OoC:  Welp it might have been something that a GM would mention to new players...  Or something our escorts could have mentioned before bringing an Imperial Ship to their location. ]

"Well, Zero is the fastest among us and he has some skill with computers.  So, Zero, if you don't mind checking out that transponder."

Zero vocabulates a quiet, long suffering sigh.  It then immediately darts off to the ship.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
