Quote:Force Focus:

As a full-round action, you may make a DC 15 Use the Force check (UTF is 15 so check is automatic). If the check succeeds, you regain one spent Force power of your choice.

Shunna then says, "I'll go in and let the others know it's ok to come out..."  She then enters the ship and innocently says, "Njon..."  <When she's close enough to whisper>  ~You will not tell anyone that you've seen Callie or I use the force.~

UTF: [1d20+15] = 16+15 = 31; Mind Trick

Shunna then adds, "It seems Ubi knows these people.  So it should be safe to leave the ship but try to be on your best behavior, and keep an eye out for anything suspicious."  Shunna will look over at the Imperial Pilot, saying, "I need a moment with the pilot."

When the Talz leaves, Shunna wakes up the Pilot and says, ~You will never tell anyone anything you know about our group, including anything you know about seeing any force powers!~  Shunna wasn't sure if he saw any Force Powers being used but she decided it was better to be safe, than sorry.

UTF: [1d20+15] = 18+15 = 33; Mind Trick

[Then use Force Focus again]

She's about to leave the ship with him but stops and adds, ~Imperials are bad people and you want to consider joining the Rebel cause against the Imperials.~ Shunna didn't want to completely remove his personal choice from him.  She just wanted him to think about what side he's on.  Maybe if he's not irredeemable he'll make a new life choice and help the rebels. An Imperial pilot could have some important intel.  But if he was set in his ways then the Rebels wouldn't be able to trust him anyways.

UTF: [1d20+15] = 6+15 = 21; Mind Trick

[Use Force Focus]

Shunna looks at Zero.  "Short of reprogramming or a memory wipe, I can't make you not reveal information, but I do implore you not to.  I only did what I did because I don't know any of them and I don't want one of them to do something stupid to make a few credits.  I assume you know what kind of people Imperials are and if they find either Callie or I, they will stop at nothing to kill us and probably the rest of the crew too.  It's doubtful the Imperials will want to deal with a bunch of escapees from the ass end of space.  And they might not destroy droids, but they won't hesitate to memory wipe one to make sure you don't have any undesirable programming."

Shunna will leave with the Pilot.  She makes sure to shield him with her own body so these Rebels don't accidently shoot him on sight.

[OoC LOL  such a good thing for you that this game doesn't have an alignment system, just totally trounced on everyone's free will]

[OoC: Well Shunna didn't tell them to forget (which I'm not sure if that's possible.)  So they still remember, they just can't sell her out for some credits.  If they did that, they could end up dead too.  So it's really saving them from possibly making a terrible decision. It's not something she (or I) wanted to do but it's a situation of, the ends justify the means.  And even though I know the PC's wouldn't tell anyone, but it would be meta-gaming for Shunna to assume they're trustworthy.

As for the Pilot, Shunna did something similar to what Obi-Wan did to the drug dealer when he tried to sell Obi-Wan some Death Sticks.  Kenobi told him, "You want to go home and rethink your life."  Shunna told him to think about joining the rebels.  She could have made him join the Rebels but she didn't because if he really is a cut throat murderer his nature would likely have him just end up selling the Rebels out as soon as he thinks he could make a profit.]

Zero listens to Shunna's request and her reasons behind her actions.  When Shunna is finished, Zero replies, "Humanoids can sometimes take actions that are not in their best interests.  Desiring an immediate benefit while ignoring the long term consequences.  So while I do not condone your actions, I also do not see your actions doing any harm beyond denying them a short term monetary gain.  As a medical droid, I'm much more interested in their long term survival.  But I will be watching, Shunna.  If I find you are using your Mind Tricks in a way that is not in their best interests, know that I will not hesitate to reveal to them your trickery."

Zero will follow behind Shunna and the pilot.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
