Then Ubi remambers something... he was supposed to meet up with an Atrivis Resistance Group cell here, to hand off his 'cargo'... but they were expecting his XS-800 light freighter.. not "Lambda shuttle..   They were as anti imperial as it gets.. if they got itchy trigger fingers...

[OoC: oh shit sorry I missed that]  Ubi says "I was supposed to meet with an Atrivis Resistance Group Cell here, to hand off my cargo. They where expecting my XS-800 Light Freighter.. not this Lambda Shuttle..They are Anti-Imperial as it gets..If the get itchy trigger fingers.."

Ubi says "Lets try and take her easy, no sudden moves unless we have to, we don't want to tempt thier itchy trigger fingers!"

[OoC: How about some info about this Resistance Group?  If we say we're here to see them, is that a no no?  I feel like we're expected to know information that we have possibility of knowing.  Does this planet sympathize with the resistance?  Well we get blown out of the sky for mentioning them? ]

"Well this is your deal," Shunna replies.  "Maybe you should take the lead.  I have no idea where this Atrivis Resistance Group cell is suppose to be."

[OOC: Zero's only knowledge skill is Life Sciences.  So unless there's a new medical procedure or a way to cure something on that planet, Zero's got nothing.]

[OoC:I am not exactly sure what Ubi does or does not know that he can pass on to the crew hear that can help them out]
Ubi suggests, "I suggest we follow our escourts directions for now, do we have a way to monitor our escorts weapon systems to see if they suddenly change thier minds and let us know if we need to take immediate evasive actions. Once we get to port I am sure we will have some touchy negotations to make so I can geti nto the port and put out some feelers to get in touch with my old associates!"

At this distance it still takes you an hour at sub-light to get closer to the orbital space station you are being directed to. Zero can scan during that time for if the snub fighters ever try to get a targetting lock for missiles or torpedoes, but ifd they decide to start shooting there will be no warning.

The fighter escorts  move to a formation where the Z95 Headhunters are port and starboard of you, and the Y-Wing is behind, each about 5 km away,  they seem to be well aware that Lambda shuttles have all their firepower in front, with only a very modest rear laser cannon.  If you turn to get any one of them in a targeting arc, the other two will be behind you and easily pick you apart.

The hour passes uneventfully and as you round the planet, a large orbital space station looms into view.  It looks like it is primarily orbital communications satellite, meant as a relay point for interstellar communication. Mot a bad place for a rebel cell to set up, they could eavesdrop on most of the communication in teh sector with that equipment, at least the unencrypted stuff.  And they could also use it to get their message of resistance out.

There is no way they would let an Imperial shuttle leave here though, they would not want the Imperials to get word they are here.

As you approach, suddenly a greenish cone of energy is projected out, snaring your shuttle.

Tractor Beam [1d20+13] = 4+13 = 17; Grapple [1d20+85] = 1+85 = 86

At the same time Zero realizes that you are being jammed.

A voice broadcasts on an open frequency. "Shuttle, prepare to be boarded. If you surrender peacefully we will not harm you."

You will not be able to respond unless you can slice through whatever is jamming yuour comms.

Zero makes an attempt to slice through the jamming... Use Computer: [1d20+10] = 10+10 = 20

"Seems illogical they would ask us to surrender but then jam us from replying.  If we wanted to send a the Imperials a message we could have done so in the hour they have been escorting us."

"You are forgetting they are not droids. Logic rarely enters into decisions where fear is involved."

Your ship comes to rest inside a massive hangar, the hangar opening barely high enough to allow the upright stabilizer/heat sink to fit beneath as you pass through the slightly blue shimmering atmospheric particle shield, but quite wide, roughly 60 neters across by 25 meters high.

Splayed out in front of the shuttle is a variety of snub fighters" Y-Wings, Z95 Headhunters and Cloakshape fighters arrayed out beneath am octagonal control tower that dominates the center of the hangar. Occupying a huge space of the hangar is a big space transport with a huge orange cargo container.

[Knowledge Technology or  knowledge : galactic lore(with a -5) to know more abouut that ship type]

Swiftly arraying in front of the large transport, and all around the hangar are combat personnel of all sorts, obviously ready to tear your ship apart with blaster fire at any sign of trouble.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
