~ Could be that when he gets high, drunk or fucked up, he uses his magic on instinct.
~ Or the opposite, he has to get fucked up to stop seeing or using magic.
~ Inspiration could come from his music that he has recorded and plays over the com-links for the party.
~ Many of his new spells could come from different ways he mixes, writes, or creates his music.

Just some ideas that flooded my brainpan when you brought up the Bard idea.  Figured I would share them with you.

Thank you for the ideas.  They all sound very interesting.  I'm not sure if the first one would be very party-friendly.  I've always tried to make characters that are team players.  Not characters that could screw up the game or cause major issues for the other characters.

@GM Marvel - That's a perfectly fine character concept. Just in this type of world, people like that are usually named John Constantine...lol

@DM Vitkyng - Welcome aboard!

I think I shall take the non-magical role in the group.. with either a brawler or a slayer(sniper archetype). Basically the fighter role. Which do you guys think meshes best with your character concepts? I'm still torn. One up close and personal, or one that strikes from a distance.

Seems like we have three, so that's enough players for me to proceed with.

Everyone roll 2d100, and I'll give you your stat roll options.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
