Malcolm's (Malcontent) & Johnny B Dorm Room
[OoC: Might as well start developing those power stunts.]

Johnny tries to push away the worry he feels for Roslyn's well being and concentrates upon the task at hand.  All the information that everyone is offering, even if it seemed insignificant, he combines into the data available.  What was the common thread?  Why is this happening?  What was this blob and how does it have control over his friends?

After a few moments of concentration, she tells the Professor. "Johnny is fine. Jack is... off. Not sure what's going on there, but it's not normal Jack things."

She moves on to more students.

"Uh... yeah. I can do that. I usually don't, because that's kinda creepy. But... alright." Standing up, she wanders back to the passed-out form of Saleem and looks at him for a few moments.

[OoC: Aurum suddenly realizes that something is wrong with Blink (and Antlion but not Raven Feather) just moments before Blink suddenly attempts her action...]

When close enough, Blink suddenly grasps the surface of the protective bubble surrounding the blob.  Under her touch, Aurum notices the solidified energy begins to show signs of stress.  It's as if Blink was trying to teleport a chunk of the dome away which would allow the creature to escape.

~Must let you free,~ Aurum can hear in Blinks mind.

[OoC: Because Aurum said she's checking Blink, I'm giving Aurum a chance to warn the others and try to stop her before she succeeds in letting the blob escape!]

At the same moment that Aurum detects something wrong with Blink, Gedeon scans Saleem.  For the most part she doesn't sense anything out of the ordinary for a human or regular mutant but there was something more.  For some reason she's is getting a hint of a weakness to Heat and disinfectant.

Gedeon looks quizzically at Saleem's crumpled form. "It's subtle, but it's definitely there. He's normal, but he's got some of..." she waves at the reinforced forcefield. "That. It's an infection."

Suddenly, Aurum points at Blink. "Stop her! She's trying to free it."

"Chandy!?  What are you doing!!??  I'm going to hurt you if you keep on continuing.  I DON'T WANT to hurt you, but I will if I have to!" He poises to throw a ball of lightning at her if she continues

Malcolm looks up at Aurum's shout and sees Chandy touching the dome.  He reaches out with his mind and attempts to grapple her, pulling her away from her contact with the dome.

[OoC: Using 35 pts of Karma]

"Ninja! Grapple," cries Graffiti!  The dark figure dashes toward Blink and grapples her arms tightly to her body so she can't touch the protective domes.  Graffiti then says, "She's a teleporter, this isn't going to hold her for long.  Someone will have to stun her or something to keep her from escaping."

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
