[IC] Medical Bay (Dez Synn + Zero)
#31
Zero sees Dez muscles tighten the split second before she is about to move, but his processors react so quickly that he acts before her.

Zero's turn - surprise round

Suddenly Zero states, "Your activities are endangering my patient's procedure.  Countermeasures initiated..."  Zero's other droid arm that was molded to seamlessly merge with its spherical shape while at rest, pops out with a blaster attached.  "Capitulating will result in your wounds being treated in a safe work environment."

Zero fires a blaster bolt (set on stun) at Theda.

[OoC: Attack +3(+1 for Point blank shot); Result 17; Dam: 3d6+2+1 (PBS); Result 18; Stunning damage] [Added point blank shot mods (+1/+1) and level adjustment to damage (+2) after making my attack and damage rolls.]

[OoC2:  Possible Feats:
  • Dastardly Strike: Whenever you make a successful attack against an opponent that is denied its Dexterity bonus to Reflex Defense, the target moves -1 step along the condition track. (Surprise Round!)
  • Devastating Attack (Blasters): Choose a single exotic weapon or weapon group with which you are proficient. Whenever you make a successful attack against a target using such a weapon, you treat your target’s damage threshold as if it were 5 points lower when determining the result of your attack.]

Zero's blaster shot hits Theda full in the chest and she convulses as the wave of ion energy courses through her. (- 3 steps on the cpndition tarck and 7 damage!)

Dez lunges for the nearest guard [Guard 2.2]]  and grabs his blaster from his holster.

[Grab attack for blaster [1d20+5] = 19+5 = 24]

Yanking the blaster free she rolls off the other side of the table,  between Theda and the medical droid [BM-63]

[Theda - Initiative [1d20+9] = 13+9 = 22, Guard 2.1 - Initiative [1d20+2] = 10+2 = 12, Guard 2.2 - Initiative [1d20+2] = 9+2 = 11]

Initiatives
Zero = 24
Theda = 22
Dez = 13
Guard 2.1 = 12
Guard 2.2 = 11

[Attack +4; Result +10; Damage Dice: (3d6+2) +1 for Point Blank Shot; Total Damage: 15; Special: (Using a force point to add to attack: Result +4); New Attack result: +14]

If Theda goes down, Zero suddenly turns to look at the two guards and seems to glare at them with it's one glowing red eye.

Theda is struck again with a wave of ion energy, and goes down, unconscious. [-3 steps on condition track, so now at -5 steps, and 7 more damage.]

Dez has less compunctions agains harming the guards than the droid does and leaves the blaster set on its full setting.

[Blaster attack (weapon focus, point blank) +7 [1d20+7] = 16+7 = 23, Damage (heavy blaster?) [3d8+3] = 14+3 = 17]

The remaining guard yells "WAIT!"  Then raises his hands, both empty, without ever drawing his blaster from it's holster.

"I capit.. uh give up."

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
