[PM to GM]

[See post in OoC thread.. Run x4 is not superhuman  Big Grin]

[OoC: Actually I said, even with HER using the force to achieve superhuman speed she couldn't catch HIM.  It's fine if Kratos identifies as transgendered and wants to be called a she but when I said HER I meant Shunna.  And Shunna didn't mean to assume his gender.   Tongue

And technically, when Kratos moves 36 meters or 108 feet on his initiative of 26 to when Shunna moves on initiative 19, which works out to be... [6 second rounds divide by 28 (which is the highest initiative) times 9 (the count difference between Kratos and Shunna's initiatives)] ...about 1.5 seconds, that's pretty effing superhuman.   Tongue

Shocked at how quickly Kratos ran from the fight, Shunna did not believe that even with the force aiding her to achieve superhuman speed that she had a chance to catch him.  And with no range weapon at hand she simply didn't have the time to gun him down.

"If you can, shoot Kratos," Shunna yells to the Talz and the Captain.

[Move Action] Shunna moves to I13.

[Standard Action] Shunna Concentrates on Stormtrooper 9 and attempts to throw him at Stormtrooper 3.

[Move Object; UTF +15; Result 16  Dodgy ; Damage: 3

Personal Note:
Wow!  That sucked!!  I rolled a 1 on attack and a 1 and 2 on damage.  Thank god you can't fail a skill roll on a 1!!!!  Obviously I did something today to piss off the Force.  Dodgy

Trooper 9 is lifted off the ground and hurtles towards trooper 3, who easily sidesteps his comrade.

Trooper 9 smacks the stone wall, taking only a little damage, but he is knocked prone.

[DC 15-19 Can move object up to Medium size (Deals 2d6 points of damage)]

"Oh no, you're not getting away that easily!" She takes off running after the dark jedi, ignoring the stormtroopers. She waves at Shunna on the way by. "You seem capable of mopping up here."

[OoC: Since SW:SAGA is based off 3.5e is it's ok to give a short reply as a free action on anyone's turn?]
Quote:Speak (3.5 SRD)
In general, speaking is a free action that you can perform even when it isn’t your turn. Speaking more than few sentences is generally beyond the limit of a free action.

[If we can...]

Shunna was a little surprised at how ineffective her throw was to both Stormtroopers.  Normally she would have expected them to have been both to have been knocked unconscious.  As she was considering meditating upon later the other force user got Shunna attention with a wave...

Shunna blinks and then while quickly glancing around the arena to keep tabs upon everyone's positions she replies, "Kratos is sprinting.  Shooting might be more effective!"

From page 144 in the SW Saga Core Rulebook

Free Actions and Reactions - Star Wars: Saga Wikia
Free Actions and Reactions
Some Actions take such a negligible amount of time that they can be performed in addition to other Actions or they can happen out of turn:
Free Action: Free Actions consume almost no time or effort, and you may take one or more Free Actions even when it isn't your turn. Examples include calling out to your friends for help and taunting a foe. The GM puts reasonable limits on what counts as a Free Action. Reciting the epic history of the Rodian hunter clans takes several minutes (Or more) and therefore isn't a Free Action. You can't take Free Actions when you're Flat-Footed.

Reaction: A Reaction is an instantaneous response to someone else's Action, and you can use a Reaction even if it is not your turn. Examples of Reactions include making a Perception check to notice a bounty hunter sneaking up behind you and instantly activating a Force Power to absorb damage from an incoming blaster bolt. You may only take a single Reaction to any one Action or effect. A Reaction is always resolved after the Action that triggered it, though some Reactions (Such as the Negate Energy Force Power, or the Block and Deflect Talents) can affect the outcomes of the Action that triggers a Reaction.

Callie can wave at Shunna and talk as well, but will save her novement until her turn.. for now Captain Sunt, the Talz, and the remaining Stormtroopers turns come first.

[Captain Sunt's turn]

Ubi yells, "Oh no you don't!" and moves to a spot where he can see Kratos [H12] then raises one of his blasters and fires, his blast striking the cieling well above Kratos' head. [Miss;23 squares = short range (-2 to attack) ]

[Njon's turn]

Njon moves to the stone railing and leans over so he can see down the passage, despite the odd angle he fires at Kratos, strikuing Kratos in the small of his back. [HitDamage 9]

[Troopers Turn]

The troopers move into the corrider, firing defensively if they even fire at all.
Trooper2 moves up the stairs fires at Njon. [Miss]
Trooper3 moves up the corridor and fires at Njon.[Miss]
Trooper5 moves in a wide berth around Captain Sunt, then up the stairs and into the corridor.
Trooper9 climbs back to his feet and moves up the corridor.

[Callie's Turn]

"You can't run away from me!" Callie shouts as she chases after the dark Jedi, tumbling past any stormtroopers in the way.

Acrobatics [1d20+9] = 19+9 = 28

Acrobatics [1d20+9] = 19+9 = 28

Acrobatics will give you a +10 bonus to your Reflex defense since you are not attacking.

http://swse.wikia.com/wiki/Character_Combat#Acrobatics

You have 6 squares of movement per move unless you Run in a straight line, in which case you can move x4 your move speed as a full round action.

So with two move actions you move 12 squares, what square do you plan on ending up. Just like D&D v3.5 ever second diagonal movement costs two squares

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
