[IC] A Stolen Land
There is a bit of grunting and squealing from multiple sources from the area to the north of you, signifying something nonhuman slowly encroaching on your current position, blocking you off from a return to Oleg's Trading post.  This grunting seems to get louder and...angrier the closer it gets.

Initiative Order:
Nexendia/Scarf
Eran
Valdi

((Okie dokie. Should be changed now.))

[OoC: What do I see coming toward us?   The grid is a little hard to see and some of the initials overlap the lines of the grid.  However, it looks like there aren't any enemies beside Nex, am I correct?]

The arcanist looks into the future, but he sees only dark clouds. [[ OOC - Prescience 3/8 [1d20] = 7 ]]

Eran casts a Color Spray which targets the 2nd and 3rd creatures (it origins from his top right corner). It's DC is increased with an Arcane Reservoir point. [[ Will vs. DC 17 ]]
If they failed the spell save, they are unconscious, blinded, and stunned for [2d4] = 3 rounds, then blinded and stunned for [1d4] = 2 rounds, and then stunned for 1 round. [[ I supposed that they have only 2HD or less. ]]

{Ooooo Thank You}

Valdi will swing down off his horse as a move action, ending up in the square adjacent to Nexendia (moving one square east, so into the square North of Nexendia)

Then he will call upon the divine magic of the runes to draw a rune in the empty air with his thumb, placing the Blast rune in the square between him and creature 4.

Quote:From d20pfsrd:
Blast Rune (Sp): As a standard action, you can create a blast rune in any adjacent square. Any creature entering this square takes 1d6 points of damage + 1 point for every two cleric levels you possess. This rune deals either acid, cold, electricity, or fire damage, decided when you create the rune. The rune is invisible and lasts a number of rounds equal to your cleric level or until discharged. You cannot create a blast rune in a square occupied by another creature. This rune counts as a 1st-level spell for the purposes of dispelling. It can be discovered with a DC 26 Perception skill check and disarmed with a DC 26 Disable Device skill check. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

[[Correct, none of the four boars (yes, boars) are adjacent to anyone at this time or they would have attacked you by now...and would have rolled very strong Stealth rolls to do so...Wink]]

The great Magic 8-ball in the sky says: "Reply hazy, try again later."

Eran casts his spell, and seconds later, both boars go down in a heap.  They seem to still be breathing.

[[Why do I get the sudden impression of The Witcher?...]]

[OoC: I'm not sure how you adjudicate Illusions.  So please let me know if Nex can do this and if not then I will have her create something else.]

Nex spots the boars approaching and pulls herself and her horse back 5' so she is beside Andra.  She then picks a bit of fleece from her cloak and with a flourish of her hand and a whisper suddenly buckets appear over each of the boar's heads.

[OoC: Casting Silent Image; DC: 16; Effect: A maximum of Five, 10' cubed areas.  Can move the Illusion around in the area.  Nexendia will concentrate on keeping the buckets firmly attached to their heads.  Hopefully if they fail their saves they will be blinded.]

The boars attempt to see through the buckets...and fail miserably!

Happs watches the remaining two boars squeal as they attempt to gore at the buckets that have suddenly materialized around their heads and takes a step towards the downed boars, drawing and knocking an arrow before releasing it at the nearest one

Attack: [1d20+3] = 13+3 = 16, Damage: [1d8+2] = 6+2 = 8

Happs fluidly redraws and aims again, ready to score another hit.

[[Round 1, Block 1 Recap: Boar 1 and Boar 4 are blinded for as long as Nexendia concentrates, Boar 2 and Boar 3 are unconscious, blinded, and stunned for 3 rounds.  Boar 1 has 8 HP worth of damage.]]

((Andra's turn))

Seeing the boars, Andra's leg muscles tighten slightly to control her horse as she lets go of the reins. Reaching over her shoulder, she smoothly draws her bow and takes a shot at one of the remaining boars.

Ride Check [1d20+3] = 15+3 = 18 to guide horse with knees (DC 5)

Shortbow Attack [1d20+2] = 6+2 = 8 at Boar 1.

Shortbow Damage [1d6] = 5

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
