[OOC] Return to the Rusty Rat

I'm surprised but I really enjoy role playing Toot.  He's not even the type of character I would usually play.  With a couple of exceptions, I generally only play Humans or Elves so a Jermlaine is WAY out of my comfort zone.  But most of the fun from playing him is his interactions with the other players, who have done a great job too.  And even though he is now capable of staying in another form for 24 hours a day, I rarely bother to use his WildShape because it would be more difficult for Toot to interact with the rest of the party.  Not to mention it would generally be more advantageous for him to stay in animal form to get the boost in physical stats!  I think so far I've only used Wildshape for transportation purposes.

Anyways, enough rambling.  Tongue

I think we are in quite a comedy, the wise old jermlaine asking the male-looking, elf-looking, tiny fey whether he was a dryad? Or maybe my English failed me and Toot asked this from the oak and not from Myshnue?

Toot asked if teh matron was, NOT is Myshnue was.... All Portho did was get excited and repeat Toot's question

So this is a nice OOC misunderstanding that plays out quite well IC, Myshnue thinking that Toot was talking to him, esp. because he couldn't see where the jermlaine was looking.

Sorry I forgot Torin, out of sight out of mind.  Can we take SG's comment as being in character??

Toot vs Myshnue, rumble in the jungle.  It's like a reverse Godzilla vs Mothra, instead of giant monsters crumbling buildings it's little bugs breaking dried leaves and small sticks.

Everytime I read the "V" with the fingers to the eyes I was dying.  I do that to my kids all the time!

I hope my joking around about SG intelligence wasn't taken out of character.  The jokes were 100% directed at SG Intelligence score and not toward anything his player has said or done.  Just like when I was making jokes about the low Charisma scores a few of us have which includes Toot, I meant no offence to anyone.
Fortunally in our culture the PC communications are not soo widley used. We have got many heavy jokes in various topics: genre, nation, ...

I know SG's player very well and don't think that jokes hurted him.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
