Missing Caravan
((Wayback machine))

Selina looks at Nacesh weirdly "For a physical trauma incident, you remove the object first so it does not continue creating trauma."

Nacesh translates Selina's question after a brief remark,
"True, unless that object prevents the victim bleeding to death. But you are the expert."

Betimi looks askance at Nacesh translating for a creature that obviously understands the Common tongue quite well, and just shakes her head.

"We want to get across without having to do battle with your kin, is there a way?"

She helps hold him steady for Selina to set one pof his broken bones as she asks.

Selina gives Nacesh a queer look, holds it for a few moments, then raises the healing wand and wiggles it between her fingers a few times for emphasis.

She then turns to Betimi and looks her over a bit.  "Now that we're here, could you use some healing?"

"I have some bruises, nothing serious."

[OoC Selina can plainly see the long gash in Betimi's side that she abruptly concealed with her cloak.]

Selina puts her hands on her hips and purses her lips, letting out a skeptical sounding "HMM!!"  She says nothing else before pointing the healing wand at Betimi's side and speaking the command word, and a wave of relief runs over Betimi's side like a flood of endorphins.

"I will not have new injuries exacerbating previously sustained trauma.  That is not how I run this show.  Doctor's orders."  She gives Betimi a small grin.

((Should be fully healed now))

Betimi is healed.  The Kobold is still hurt but at least his bleeding has stopped.

The Kobold replies, "Bridgess can carry the weight of about four Koboldss [Or about 200 pounds].   Not ssure how to avoid the flaming oil and sspearss.  But there iss a path on the other sside of the river not far from here.  You might have already sseen it.  If you can get acrosss the river to the path, you might be able to ambussh them insstead.  But I must assk you to try not to kill any of my kind.  They don't really mean you any harm.  They are jusst afraid of Unreth."

Tomeal listens and then says, "Four kobolds?  With my armor I'm close to that weight!  I could set off the trap just going across by myself.  And I doubt they are going to just let Jonath figure the trap out to make it safe.  Does anyone have any ideas how to get across the river to that path this Kobold is speaking about?"

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
