The First Mission - (Chapter 1)
Stepping from beside the car he's been kneeling near, he followed up Marcus's questions with one of his own, And from where were you summoned?
So this ain't theater, it's a science project. Delightful. Aaron responded dryly. Aaron wasn't expect this thing to give a straight answer to any of their questions but he waited for a response all the same. Keeping the creature talking seemed to be the best course of action right now.
Nolan remains quiet for the moment, allowing the boys to engage in conversation with the being, while he focuses his attention on studying it for any hint of the creatures abilities, weaknesses and motives.

The thing laughs, "Oh, I doubt you would know me, what I am or where I'm from. Granted, I don't doubt your ability to comprehend such things. Especially after I just witnessed such splendid power potential from the lot of you. But it's simply something that would not have any meaning for you."

He raised I finger, "I will tell you this though.  Something I didn't care to share with the fools who summoned me.  I … am, home. Which is why their attempts to immediately banish me failed."

"I was not ungrateful, but I was rather annoyed when they thought to lock me back up. So I killed half the little northern wizard kings court out of annoyance before he used his clever tongue to make a deal. He promised me an entire nation to play with."  He smiled, "Some hateful place called the Coalition. But …"  He stretched his arms wide and gestured to the town. "I had to see what sort of clay I was working with."
Nolan raises an eyebrow  at the word ~Home?~   He searches his mind ~perhaps Unseelie?~ he thinks

Viego felt his anger growing as the 'man' spoke. He was aware that this being was obviously something he couldn't kill easily if at all. Still he was pissed at its words. "Clay? We aren't toys for you to play with. The coalition isn't yours. Find somewhere else to fuck with!" he growled out between clinched teeth.  His anger was causing him to loose some self control and he was aware of it.
Stand down! Khayman snarled at Veigo. He didn't want the little hot head exploding into action before they gained what intelligence they could from this being. Not to mention that he was trying to come up a plan that didn't get the lot of them killed. They needed a plan, this creature was like nothing he'd ever seen before.
Marcus glanced over at Viego hoping that the Sarges words sunk in.  If not, Marcus was the only one capable of restraining the man.  And he had a strong feeling that fighting this thing was not a good idea at the moment.  It had seen them use a large portion of their power and while this being seemed impressed it didn't seem to possess even the tiniest measure of fear.

That alone spoke volumes.
Aaron's hand reflexively tightened around his vibro-knife when Viego got angry, but he didn't show any other reaction otherwise. Northern wizards? You mean Tolkeen. Yeah...of course they would be involved in this shit.

He raised an eyebrow at the mysterious man. What do you mean they promised you the Coalition? Sounds to me like you're the one wearing the pants in the relationship; you could just as easily have demanded that they supply you test subjects in Tolkeen.
Viego forces himself to relax, it is an obvious strain for him to do so. He can feel his desire to rip this creature.. it wasn't a man, limb from limb. It was like a blood lust, he wasn't sure why he felt it so strongly, but he forced himself to take deep breaths.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
