Entry Cavern
Reawyn and Cin tripped over each other?
[1d6+2] = 2+2 = 4 electrical damage DC 16 for half (Sorry, gotta roll your own reflex in this one.)

The electrical discharge leaves the sharp smell of ozone and the sound of groaning adventurers. The machinery drops down to intermittent sparks.
- Damn it! ... We should take a rest in a safe place.
"Yes, but where? We have not secured a place since before we met the skulk village."
"If we rest here an answer might present itself.  Chrome, could you put the machines here to sleep like you did with the robot?  Reawyn, perhaps something you did set off a trap and we can disable it?"

Ooc - I am unsure how the Treat Deadly Wound use of the Heal skill works.  Is a Healer's Kit necessary to use the skill at all?  Can I take 20?  The skill doesn't say one can't.

Treat Deadly Wounds*
Requirement: You must expend two uses from a healer’s kit to perform this task. You take a –2 penalty on your check for each use from a healer’s kit that you lack.
When treating deadly wounds, you can restore hit points to a damaged creature. Treating deadly wounds restores 1 hit point per level of the creature. If you exceed the DC by 5 or more, add your Wisdom modifier (if positive) to this amount. A creature can only benefit from its deadly wounds being treated within 24 hours of being injured and never more than once per day.
Action/Time: 1 hour.
Retry? Varies. Generally speaking, you can’t try a Heal check again without witnessing proof of the original check’s failure.

"The party moves along the path. The large mass seen in the distance becomes a small mountain that rises North of the trail. The dull glow to the Southeast becomes more visible as the ;path leads them East. Eventually, the path comes to a wall in this massive 'room.' The path turns South along the rocky wall. After another few minutes of walking, the path does a u-turn and leads to a dead end."

Here is the dead end Big Grin

Is the machinery inactive now or still active? Can't we disable or destroy it?

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
