The First Mission - (Chapter 1)
Marcus reached and pulled the things head off... just to be sure.
---Marcus---

After pulling it's head off, Marcus if quite certain the Black Fairy is dead.

---Khayman---

Lieutenant Nolan is just unconscious.

---Aaron---

It was very hard to tell Viego was even alive, but after a few moments, Aaron realized Viego was just in an incredibly deep coma.  He was stable, but Aaron knows he will need to perform psychic surgery to pull Viego out of it or there is a very good chance the young man will die.
Aaron wiped his brow and took a deep breath. Viego is critical, I need to operate ASAP. The lieutenant is stable, yes?

Bad news was that the damage was much more extensive than Aaron had anticipated. Good news was that Aaron was almost as adept at repairing flesh and bone as he was working with oil and metal. He knelt down and hoisted Viego up in a fireman's carry and placed the unconscious body on a table as far away from any doors and holes as possible. Aaron placed both hands on Viego's head and focused as tendrils of psionic energy snaked out of his fingers and permeated through Viego's internal vessels. Psionic surgery, while limited in scope in some aspects compared to more traditional procedures, was a rare and wondrous ability, allowing a psion to perform complex and delicate internal repair with an accuracy and efficiency that could rival the world's best doctors.

Yeah, out cold, Khayman responded, then headed for the door, poking his head outside to make sure any noise that had been heard inside hadn't traveled outside and alerted any nearby spectators.

Perception 47%: 1d100 63
Marcus moves to the gaping hole and help Sarge survey the other side of the street away from the door.  Aaand he sees nothing weird or out of place outside.

Perception vs 48%: 1d100 = 96
---Marcus and Khayman---

The only weird thing that both men take note of is that no one is coming to check on the explosion.  The villagers are all just moving along in the street as though nothing happened.

---Aaron and Viego---

Viego's eyes pope open.  He has been healed through Aaron's power as well as his own regeneration.

---Nolan---

Simply being unconscious for a few moments, wakes up, shaking his head with one hell of a headache.
Okay, that's not fucking weird or anything, the master sergeant muttered, slipping back into the bar. It's got to be some kind of mind control, fucking no one is even looking at this place. Then noting that the lieutenant was waking up, he smirked, Welcome back to the freakshow LT.
Aaron gave Viego a couple hearty slaps on the chest. Rise and shine, Mr. Silver. Rise and...shine. Viego's impressive natural regeneration significantly reduced surgery time, which was great because Aaron did not want to be stuck in a vulnerable position any longer than was necessary. Viego and Nolan had fully regained consciousness, so Aaron moved back to the bartender and continued treatment where he left off before the black fairy threw a tantrum.

Marcus watched the townsfolk and had the same feeling that Sarge did. He turned back to the others shaking his head, "Well - if we didn't alert whoever or whatever is in charge of this madhouse, I'll marry that fairies sister. But, so far whatever is out there is holding it's cards close."
"What happened?" Viego asked, not commenting on the slapping at all from Aaron. He stands up, looks a bit sheepish and confused.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
