Quote:Wealth (Talent)

Wealth
Each time you gain a level (including the level at which you select this talent), you receive an amount of credits equal to 5,000 x your class level. You can spend these credits as you see fit. The credits appear in a civilized, accessible location of your choice or in your private bank account.

That means you will have a lot of credits available"
1st level noble = 5,000cr
2nd level noble = 10,000cr
3rd level noble = 15,000cr
4th level noble = 20,000cr

Net total = 50,000cr

You will have a lot of credits. Remember though, it is by class level not character level. So any level in a class other than noble means the amount of credits you gain does not increase (you still gain credits though).

Remember restricted or military or illegal fear has to be determined individually (often using black market pricing if I allow it)

So that is in addition to starting credits?  I understand that’s a lot of money going to take wealth and connections.  I feel that makes so much since for the spoiled brat of a senators daughter running off to join the rebellion.

I might have limited it for another okayer in the past so I am going to check *it was a long time ago that characters were created). I am researching to see what I did in the past.

I will wait and see what you say for sure but that would be fine.  I don’t plan on being broken anyway with it just makes sense with the concept.  It will be good for role play as well the rich chick who knows everyone and can get you anything for the right price.

I found it. I did not limit the wealth. just was not allowing more than 1500cr per level of it to be spent on droid modifications (droid character). The rest could be spent on gear or saved. The same would apply for you if you went with cybernetics etc. no more than 1500 cr per level (max. 66000 cr)

Just to be clear what is the total I can spend on cybernetic as a level 4 noble.  Cause I am going that route.  Also how do you handle rolls for licenses and such pregame or is it just assumed I succeed?
Quote this message in a reply
The limit is only on wealth gaomed from Wealth talent. I am limiting droids and cybernetic improvements using money from Wealth talent to 1,500cr per character level, so 6,000cr.

That means if you spend your entire starting credits as per the character creation rules Noble = 4,800cr + 6,00cr = 10,800cr could be spent on cybernetics and your other 44,000cr on other things.

Too simpliofy things for character creation I am just allowing licensed and restricted at cost. Military and illegal you have to pay the black market cost. Military = x4 cost. Illegal = x5.

Licensed and restricted items you need to just decide for RP purposes if ther item is licensed or black market. if it is licensed the authorities know you have it and you have to have a RP reason to explain why they authorized it. Black market items.. well.. Smile

I’m Does that include the surgery cost?
Quote this message in a reply
OnIf there is a surgery cost you can take that out of regular wealth. Only advanced cybernetics have a listed surgery cost.

*sigh* As much as I want to resist, I've got the Star Wars crave. Any room in the game for a bounty hunter?

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
