The First Mission - (Chapter 1)
Aaron finished off his stew and got ready to head out. Missing a day or two of sleep was nothing new for Aaron, who would often pull all-nighters to work on his projects without missing a beat the next day. Ready to roll out, Sir.
Marcus stuffed the last bite of cornbread into his mouth and moved to the APC to get underway.
"Viego, go fetch the dog-boys will you."
Snapping a half hearted, but respectful salute to the lady Lieutenant, Khayman set about getting a thermos or two of coffee, while Veigo went to retrieve the dog boys. Once those bits of life saving accessories was acquired he headed for the ATC.
Nolan grabs some coffee to go as well and a few peices of the cornbread, then heads for the ATC.
Viego saluted Nolan and jogged over to grab the dog boys. He grinned at them as he said, "Come on boys, we are hitting the road."
---Everyone---

It doesn't take long for everyone to be loaded back into the APC and starting moving up the northern highway toward Appleseed.  The highway is relatively well maintained so the drive to the border town isn't overly tricky.  After a while the road does start to get worse, but this close to the edge of the Coalition boarder, that wasn't too surprising.  Soon, the group was pulling to a stop about half-a-mile outside the town.
"Alright boys, time to recon. Viego, the reports say you can turn invisible, anyone else have any neat tricks that would help?"

He looks at Khayman. "I might be a genius, but I am not gonna pretend omnipotence, so this is where all you you get free input while we plan how best to approach."

He looks at the psi-stalkers and the dog-boys. "You all get input here too. I want ideas, because what we are NOT going to do is roll up to Appleseed blind."

He then also reaches out to detect any ley lines or nexus within 10 miles.

detect Ley Line [1d100]=65 vs 46%
Detect Nexus [1d100]=50 vs 56%
Aaron sat polishing his rifle and checking its parts; everything was already in pristine shape, but it was more of a meditative process. Recon's my specialty sir. I've been trained as a scout sniper. Aaron blinked out of existence and reappeared several seconds later with a smile to emphasize his point. And I know a neat trick or two.

Both Aaron and Viego had the ability to go invisible ( which explained how they were able to sneak out and carouse about town so often), though their modes of execution were functionally different.
While Winken and Blinken can disappear from sight. Nod over there, Gesturing to Marcus, has eyes that would make a cat jealous and can possibly see the two aforementioned scouts, Post him and the dog boys on our parameter and nothing, not even a flea, will get close to us.

Veigo and Aaron received outrageous scores in scouting, as well as escape and evade courses.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
