Chromis
#3
Chromis could see the writing on the wall. These aberrant energies would continue to coalesce in ways that would bring down the federation if left unchecked. Perhaps even the full might of his people wouldn't be enough if they acted too late. So drastic measures would need to be taken. They weren't ready yet, his leaders, but this wasn't a new feeling to Chromis, he was always ahead of the curve.

So he worked on this project in secret. He added code to his world souls, hidden and layered a hundred ways. It didn't need to remain hidden forever, just until they were desperate enough. This code would add striations of minerals in strategic locations such that with a targeted beam in a specific location would trigger a chain reaction that would render the entire planet into rubble and dust. This wouldn't leave a scarred lifeless moon like orbital bombardment, and would need far less manpower to achieve. Complete and utter destruction, which is what he knew would eventually be required, any and all of the federations terraformed planets could be detonated to stem the tide of the advancing darkness.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
