She came out of the shower, wearing a towel, with a toothbrush sticking out of her mouth. Peering into the foggy mirror, she wiped at it so she could see herself, but it just fogged up again.
"I think I might actually brush it."
She quickly finished brushing her teeth, then rinsed her toothbrush thoroughly before dropping it into the holder. Then she made good on brushing her hair, and began hopping around trying to put on her military dress pants.
"You ever think about where all this stuff comes from?"
She came up with the strangest, largely pointless, questions in the shower. She didn't seem to be thinking about the day ahead at all.
