Somehow, Toryn managed to outlast the incendiary cloud with his body and soul still joined as one. The gnome was built tough despite his diminutive frame. Unfortunately the necrotic chain, wrapped around his neck like a hungry serpent, still threatened to squeeze the last drop of life out of him.
