Dunndero looked at The doorway and saw Toryn reaching for the door while dropping into a stance and pulling his blade. He shouted instructions to Toryn on how to insure his chance of a successful strike and saw the gnome starting to adjust his positioning. Then adjusted his own position in case a ghoul passed by him.
Toryn shut the door and readied himself in case one of the ghouls opened the door.
Breezy moved to where he could watched the door, and mentally prepared to cast a spell.
The closest Ghoul moved forward and grabbed the door and jerked it open in front of Toryn and the gnome struck him in the gut with his sword. and then Breezy sent a bolt of electricity bouncing along the floor until it reached the Ghoul The Ghoul saw the blue bolt coming and twisted to avoid most of it The bolt continued to the next Ghoul standing in what looked like a holding cell with an open gate. It too leapt and avoided the worst of the electrical spell.
The ghoul that opened the door then lashed out with a hand adorned with sharpened black nails at the gnome. Toryn leaned back as the Claws passed in the air where he had been.
A Ghoul stepped around the corner in front of Arielle and reached for her grabbing her arm and digging its nails into it . The Eidilon felt her body start to go rigid from the paralysis and the ghoul drug her by the arm into the room, much to the parties dismay. ((look at the dice...lol they dont lie)) The other ghouls swarmed around the fallen fey. Pulling large chuncks of flesh from her body and eating it. They looked up with gleee as their hunger was only beginning to be sated. Suddenly the Eidilon disappeared and they all looked up.....All the while Satoru was grimacing and writhing in agony and suddenly he fell over unconscious.
Larz could see the ghoul attacking Toryn and he said a small prayer to Trudd and a blast of white energy hit the Ghoul and it dissolved to a puddle of nothingness before the startled Gnome who stood aghast as Arielle was eaten before his eyes. He then gave his hammer a heft ready in case one came out towards him ((Keep your rolls Larz and Dunndero use them next round.))
As Larz could, Lucian could see one of the Ghouls who had been devouring the Eidilon, snap its head up and look back at the Gnome and he sent a piece of masonry rocketting towards it and it bounced off its head. It scowled and snarled. Lucian also kept his shield of force raised.
Oriana could see nothing but her Toryns gagging at what he watched and moved out next to Breezy and raised her shield. She could tell something had happened to Arielle because Satoru as laying in the hall blood oozing from his body
Kallista raised her shield and moved to stand next to Toryn ready to defend...and saw the look of disgust? Horror? on her friends face and couldnt see Arielle anywhere. but could see the blood on the floor and the ghouls faces nearby....
