Toryn grabbed Kallista's shield before she ran off and got to work bending the metal back into shape and fixing the leather straps. The work was swift, and the shield strong and sturdy again after about a minute of hammering. Larz's shield had some minor dents, and those were quickly buffed out as well. Then off he went to help search some rooms, though his mind kept wandering back to the unsorted piles of fallen kobold equipment.
