Toryn watched the gelatinous cube finally collapse into a giant puddle of goo and gave it a little salute. Farewell Jiggles. You were just a hungry little fellow weren't you? After the one second funeral for his fallen adversary, the gnome readied his bow and focused his attention on the fight up the hallway. It was a bit out of his normal plinking range but Toryn reckoned he could still make the shots.
He gave his bow a little kiss for good luck, aimed high, and fired off the first shot. Unfortunately Toryn had vastly overestimated the arc he needed and the arrow hit the ceiling; fortunately, it then ricocheted downward and hit a hapless kobold straight in the forehead. The second shot flew truer, zipping past his comrades' heads and almost felling another one of the little lizards in one shot.

Action 2: Shortbow 1 (-2 range penalty): 1d20+8 13, Shortbow 1 reroll: 1d20+8 23 (has -2 penalty for range increment, +1 Inspire Courage, +1 Guidance)
Shortbow 1 damage: 1d6+1 4
Action 3: Shortbow 2 (-2 range penalty): 1d20+2 20
