Shadows swirl around as if the darkness from the recesses of the town hall couldn't quite bear to leave him. Like smoke they shifted around the man as he stepped out into the open, making it hard to determine his features.

He looks at the remains of the witchling and chuckles. "Fascinating." His voice was smooth, but the edges of his tone vibrated like a guitar string being plucked. It hinted at power, but a reserved sort. "And here I was under the impression that humans had fallen far since I visited this world last. After seeing you all in action. I may have to reassess that judgement."
