Portho will attempt to decipher the writing.
[As per d20srd http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/useMagicDevice.htm Deciphering a written spell using UMD = DC 25+spell level.. his UMD skill is +14]
[From roll20..Portho Nihilbuck: rolling d20+14 UMD to decipher scroll (8)+14= 22]
[OoC allowed to retry once per day]
After a full minute of examining the scroll Portho decides he needs some more time to ponder it, and decides to tuck it away for later study. He tucks the scroll back in it's tube and tucks that back into the side pocket of his haversack.
Time to find a way out of here.
Portho sticks his hand into the side pocket of his haversack and pulls out a wand.
He moves to the center of the room he awoke in, faces south, and speaks the command word
"Leiða!!"
Holding his concentration, e examins the south passage, and the south wall of the room.
