Cuz the whole point of Tomeal yelling and screaming was for the Croc to turn its attention to him. Tomeal doesn't want to fly off into an uncontrollable rage. He'd rather have the Croc devour him than be possibly responsible for one of your deaths.]
[OoC2: Who's to say the sword wants to go back to the soldier? The man who had it died and it wasn't even his sword. It was the Magistrates sword that he let the Captain borrow to lead his soldiers. In any case, the blade seems pretty content in Selina's hands. In the battle on the ship it didn't show any of it's abilities to the Captain. Just Selina, for some reason. ]
[OoC3: These little suckers ARE pretty annoying. But once you get the drop on them, they pretty much drop like flies. As shown when Betimi killed one with one hit.]
[OoC: It is not required to attack her. The stance is not like the Knight's Test of Mettle ability. It (the croc) can attack anyone else, at the expense of taking a -4 penalty to its attack bonus on any attack it makes against anyone other than Selina. Any creature that is within her threatened area while her stance is active is aware of this (although...it's an animal so...no idea how that works exactly). And Selina is still more willing to take a hit, even if it's from Tomeal, than let anyone else get hurt. She's too torn about that part of leadership to be able to accept that, sometimes, leaders have to lead their followers into danger like this. So it's a lovely thing about her to be so protective.
OoC2: Ohhhh Myyyy! *gleeful grin* Methinks Selina may just have an artifact there. Or perhaps a Weapon of Legacy. Either way...niiice. And...yeah. She's not Lawful so she won't press the issue if the weapon is telling her "I Dun Wanna!"
OoC3: Then I'll leave Betimi to demolish the annoying ones while Selina and Co. gang up on Double-Croc.]]
