Deciding not to take the body, you all quickly make your way back to the creek that brought you into the caves. You finally arrive at the spot where you fought the fire beetles.
Dampness hangs in the air of this cave, condensing into heavy moister on the slick, stone walls. There is a low ceiling with several stalagmites. To the east you can hear the creek. Assuming you approach, you find you're standing on the 5' ledge and the creek is only 10' away. The air is eye watering and heavy with the bitter stink of mold and vinegar, but it is breathable, despite the unpleasant flavor -- narrow vents and fissures provide enough air circulation to keep the atmosphere breathable, if disagreeable. The shallow creek runs north and south which is the direction of the town of Torch.
What do you do?
