You pass through the final pair of metal doors and enter the Skulk's lair.
The ceiling of this vast chamber rises nearly 30' overhead. A five-foot-wide ledge runs along the western wall, sloping down to the cave floor 10' below. Four ramshackle huts made of what appear to be strips of metal, hides, and some sort of fibrous plant matter sit in the cave, while to the south yawns a dark pit.
Assuming you continue...
You all approach the first passage you come across...
The temperature drops noticeably in this passageway, and a rime of white frost lines the walls and floors leading into the cavern beyond. What seems to be a light layer of brown dust carpets the cave floor beyond. You remember that this is the chamber where there was a frozen body but this is apparently a separate entrance. The ledge you dragged him up and over is to the north which has a coating of brown mold between you and it.
Assuming you avoid the brown mold and find the other entrance to the cave...
You travel another 30' to the north where you find another passage. This is the passage where the group was separated so you could speak to the skulls. You know that continuing northward would lead you back to the Skulk's homes you decide to turn westward.
After a short travel you enter a familiar area. Here is a collection of crates, boxes, rubble, and scavenged metal lies heaped in the northweast section of this damp cave. Several strange chalk drawings of twisted, spiny plants, a strange three-legged creature, and emaciated four-armed humanoids mark the walls.
The body of the man can be seen about 20' to the south.
