Zero wants to know what is the safest way to shut everything down without killing everyone before or after the power is shut down.

Can the computer create a count down.

If it can create a count down can it count down and then restart itself safely after a specific amount of time.

Apparently my answer got lost, so here it goes again.

Short answer Yes.. Timed shutdown is an option, as well as Timed Restart.  Minimum normal shutdown  takes 10 minutes. Anything faster requires an emergency override because the reaction must be slowed down first or it could meltdown. Timed shutdown delays the start of the shutdown process. The minimum shutdown time for emergency shutdown or emergency restart is still one minute.

Shutting down the reactor will not automatically shut off the energy force field, as it will switch to battery backup.  Most critical systems in the station, like the medbay or docking bay particle shields (keeping the atmosphere in), also have a battery backup, but things like docking clamps et cetera would  not have battery backup.

While Zero is getting an understanding of the possible commands of this computer, Ui, Njon and the zabrak reach Shunna, Dez and the aqualish.
