Toot adjusts his and Boo's location so he's about 30' away and not directly in front of any of the magical spots or secret doors.  

Toot will ask everyone to step back a bit and then levitate a small twig with his Mage Hand and float it over to the magical areas to see if the magic from the mage hand is dampened.  He asked them to move back in case he detonates the trap by accident.
