Portho was thinking just LOANING you the buckler.  If you pay 20gp you can use it until he has saved enough to get it animated like he wanted (that will cost 8000gp and is beyond Murkatos skill, it is 12th level enchantment).

Yeah, I almost bought an animated shield too! Then it would be always floating around him no matter what form Toot was current wildshaped into. But I figured the +9 to his Armor Class plus whatever the animal's Natural armor, Size and Dex mods would be enough for now.
