The circlet does not appear in any stories Portho has ever heard but the design and the intricate inscribings on the inside remind him of a long lost empire of magic; somehow an evil necromancer pops into his mind but he cannot recall the details of the story, nor the names of people or places.
The cloak strikes him as an old acquaintance from a prehistoric legend. It is called the Turncoat of Creation. Aside from the symbols of the arcane schools there are fine illustrations of a smaller humanoid figure controlling a larger one; and the larger one some emitting a cloud that in turn engulfs prone (dead?) people. Legends say whoever equips such a cloak may act as the creator in the eyes of many constructs and this one seems to be fashioned to iron golems.
The wand seems just like that-- an ordinary arcane wand with the inscription "Gratiam Celeritatis"
Without removing the stopper it's hard to tell what the vial is for but the liquid's ethereal substance, almost as thin as mist, must be some potent chemical reagent. A strong acid or adhesive maybe?
The battle axe is of intricate, masterwork design, made of pure mithril to reduce weight, and the blade has an insidious, malevolent shape tearing up the opponent's flesh even on a bruising hit. The word "Cleaver" is written in drow on the blade and the head is decorated with a spider sitting in the middle of a spiderweb on either side.
OOC - Pearl was a paladin, just in case it matters
