[IC] The Dwarven Ruins

[Torin]

The bison causes a light wound to the spider (attack: 15 damage:6), but maybe a deadly wound. He goes forward, if he can.

And Torin misses again.

DM's turn if the spider still alive.

Portho's arrow proves to be a deadly shot. All the bison can do is to stomp on the fallen opponent.

(battle over.)

- Nice shot!
A few seconds later the bison fades out from this realm.

Torin collects his javelins and examines this two rooms.

"I used my wand here to detect secret doors already, but none were within range. If you have a way to clear the rubble in that cave in maybe there is a way we can proceed through there, but otherwise there is no way from here that I can see. Either we find a way past the runic ddor, or if yiou know of any other ways you have not told me about."

[OoC so far Torin hasn't been forthcoming with any other ways that he might know as far as I am aware. So Portho only knows of the runic door.]

[ooc by "runic door" do you mean the stone portal with the seven engravings (eighth missing), or the locked door upstairs near Pearl's remains?]

[OOC - I'm reading Portho's thread and rereading my threads also, after these I will continue with a bigger post. I am going to reply tomorrow.]

- You are so lucky. All of your's party members - the elven warrior, the human knight and the albino -  are dead but you are still alive. Did you meet them with a few days/weeks ago or some of them was your best friend? If you want and have enough resource I can try to bring back them.

Did you examined their bodies? Why are they died and you didn't? Why was just the knight in a cocoon?
[OOC - Could Torin knows that the spiders eat their victims outside from their bodies in a cocoon?]

If Portho says that they just met a few days/weeks ago:

Did you check their equipment? Maybe we cloud use some of them.
Torin examines the knight (Pearl) armor. Could he repairs it with mundane and/or with magical (Mending, Make Whole ) methods?

If somehow Torin knows the two tiny wounds in the elven girl:

Tomorrow I can try to speak with her body and we could know much more about her death!

Torin tries to find another illusiory wall in this northern section. He is searching the "safe passage" or other engravings.

- Can you cast a detect magic? I'm off. Maybe there is something magical there.

If Torin gets a chance to look at Pearl's armor he finds that it's a suit of masterwork full plate but he does not know the material it is made of. It feels like steel but almost translucent.

The priest (or anyone for that matter) can find the pierced wounds with a DC 15 Heal check. (OOC - I'm surprised Torin has no ranks on Heal... is it intentional?)
