Toryn heard the halfling's song echoing across the hallway and felt a surge of confidence jolt through his body. He took a deep breath and unleashed a volley of arrows into the gelatinous cube's quivering membrane. With the third shot, Toryn paused, pulled the bowstring to its absolute limit, and let loose the last missile, watching with satisfaction as a nice chunk of goo exploded off of the ooze from the impact.

Lucian knew time was of the essence. They needed to back up that front line with the rush of kobolds coming at them, but this cube had to be taken down first. "Calor!"
He summoned an aura of fire around his hand.  The energy pulsed once as it manifested around his fist.  Then he flexed his hand toward the Gelatinous Cube and sent two blazing fire bolts into the creature.

(Action 1 - Casting Scorching Blast.)
(Action 2 - Launching Scorching Blast at the Gelatinous Cube)
(Action 2 - Launching Scorching Blast at the Gelatinous Cube)

Scorching Blast Attack Check: 1d20+8 = 23 = Inspire Courage +1 = 24
Scorching Blast Fire Bolt Damage: 2d8 = 8 = Inspire Courage +1 = 9
Scorching Blast Attack Check: 1d20+8 = 20 = Inspire Courage +1 = 21

Scimitar Attack 1: 1d20+8 (definitely using a hero point) Scimitar Attack 1: 1d20+8 18
Scimitar Damage: 1d8+4 6 (7 damage, keep forgetting the Bard's song)
Scimitar Attack 2: 1d20+5 6 (fucking die hate me)

As the swarm of dragonkind moved forward the Paladin swung out at the first to come within range, the blade biting deep into the creature, and lodging onto something, since she tried to attack again and unfortunately lost her grip on the weapon causing it vanish, leaving her with only her shield which we raised preparing to defend herself and those behind her..

Action 1: Attack
Action 2: Fumbled attack
Action 3: Raise Shield to defend.

Dunndero steps around the Druid Breezy, placing himself between Breezy and the approaching kobalds, he roars in orcish, "Ya have found trouble now, and gone and bit off more'n ye can chew! Die bastards! Die!", as he immediately launches several viscous chops at the 2 kobalds in front of him.

Satoru shudders and gurgles as he practically felt his skin peel off, his eyes start to burn.  Then he finishes the ritual and it abruptly comes to an end, an empty space iin the cube where his eidolon once was, and he gasps for air.  Eyeing the oversized pile of jello, he pants for air some more as he brings his hands together, electricity sparking weakly between his fingers for a moment.  Then he walks until he’s at the absolute maximum range and flicks the burst at the cube.

[[Actions:
Action 1: Stride until he’s 30’ exactly from where the Cube is when his turn starts
Actions 2&3: Electric Arc for 3 damage (8 reduced by resistance) forgot the +1 bonus from the bard, it’s 4 damage.  9-5 resistance.

If it is dead before his turn, he will spend his actions manifesting Arielle directly in front of him and seeing what he can do to help her…which is nothing right now...]]

Breezy begins casting again the small leshy cradling the lightning sparking in his leafy hands as he regards the battle field. There were a lot of kobolds. However the small druid thought it could hold out long enough to cast the heightened lightning again.

Kallista felt invigorated by the Bards singing, and grinned as she cut into the Kobold to her front, then found that her mind blade had stuck into its rib and couldnt be pulled loose and it vanished.

Toryn rapidly fired three arrows into the strange ooze to his front each arrow penetrated and stayed lodged. The arrows from last round had lost the sinew bindings holding the fletching intact and the feathers and were little more than pointy sticks now. The wounds on Toryn con

Oriana continued to blast the Cube of ooze with freezing cold and watched more and more of its body fall off and smash in frozen pieces, the blasts going right over Toryns head.

Dunndero stepped in between Breezy and the Kobolds and swung his axe and the first was cut into two equal parts. ...the upper torso fell to the right, the lower to the left. greenish dragon ichor sprayed Dunndero and the surrounding area., the blow continued right into the other Breezy had scorched and it fell too.

Larz paused to use his quickly diminishing healing powers on himself and stopped his bleeding as well as healed himself as much as he could being drained from the Bloodseekers. He then looked at the Kobold in front of him and raised his shield.

Edgrin now in the safety of the others whispered Barlus a hunter escaped with me. He ran through those doors at the end of the hall past the Kobolds coming. I was in front, by a bit and couldnt double back because of the Kobolds chasing us. Before his singing, though the tune changed as he stomped his feet and clapped his hands, the broken lute slung over his shoulder.

Kobold, you're a wyrmling, make a big noise
Playing in the ruin, gonna be a big Drake someday
You got mud on your face, you big disgrace
Kicking your can all over the place, singin'

We will, we will rock you
We will, we will rock you

The Kobolds kept coming. One slipped around the side and attacked Breezy with his spear stabbing him deeply in the side. Clear plant fluids dripped out. The Lizardling stabbed again but missed this time . Two closed with Dunndero and attacked the big man. Both stabbed him in his legs, then one stabbed him in his stomach with a secondary thrust.

In a frenzy of attacks vs Larz The two Kobolds to his front. It was a terribly dangerous dance as they thrusted multiple times with spears and he managed to keep his shield between him and them blocking and maneuvering.

The same occurred with Kallista, though one of the multiple spear attacks slipped through and stabbed her in her calf.

Breezy ignored the spear injury and began to weave his hands in the same manner the group saw before when he had launched that ball of lightning. it was growing in his hands as he watched it and focused his concentration.

Lucian thought carefully and his tactical mind said the Ooze had to go...and he called up scorching beams of heat and literally melted the ooze before him. The armor and aze and arrow heads and sticks fell to the ground in a heap.

Satoru moved forward preparing to call electricity forward to attack the ooze and when he saw it was destroyed he continued to move forward to near Lucian nodding appreciatively at the wizards magic

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
