Chapter 1: Hollows Last Hope
With the cauldron dealt with, Oriana let her shield drop and looked to see how everyone was feeling. She thankfully didn't get hurt, but no one else got away scot free.

She watched as Larz and Breeze started tending to the parties wounds, and then Oriana followed them around to wash away the last signs of hurt that remained with her salty healing balm.

"The salt is proper strong back to back, it would just hurt like buggery if I tried it again so quickly. Give it 10 minutes or so and I can patch you up." Oriana tells Lucian.

"And it sounds like it would hurt you like buggery no matter when I did it on you soz." she apologised with a shrug to Harley.

"What are we here for again? Herbs?" Oriana ventures to the group, having forgotten their reason for coming this way into the darkwood.

Seeing most of the party members still wounded, Larz wonders if the Hag has anything he can use for medical supplies, so he begins to clean up and search the cabin. he does infact manage to build a medical kit and finds several other things as well. As he gathers up the items foe his medical kit he places everything else on the table.

Breezy heads outside and comes back in with more mud that looks like some kind of clay like plaster. The small leshy slaps the substance on Lucian and Harley's wounds. While it looks well gross honestly, it feels cool and soothing healing wounds and then crumbling away leaving it like there wasn't a wound there at all.
"Ironbloom Mushrooms.  Also wanted to verify the Hag was dead." The druid said as it applied the plaster.

Medicine (Lucian): 1d20+7=23
Treat Wounds (Lucian): 2d8=5
Medicine (Harley): 1d20+7=16
Treat Wounds (Harley): 2d8=14

While not a pleasant feeling, Harley smiled to the little druid and bowed her head, thank you very much. It might mean some extra cleaning for her gear and a little soreness, but the healing properties of the Leshy's mud couldn't be denied.

Toryn peeked his head through the doorway as if on queue. There's a cluster of mushrooms growing around a dead tree behind the hut. Coincidentally, those little reptilian tracks we found earlier lead straight to them as well. He sheathed one of his blades but kept one shortsword out just in case anymore surprise guests showed up. Perhaps these are the "Ironbloom mushrooms" we are looking for. Or maybe they're a delicious dinner. Or maybe they are a bowel-hemorrhaging poison. Fungi are fascinating!

Larz had a thought to see if he could compile a medical kit from what the Hag had in supplies and went to work , clearing off a spot on the table to work. As he put together the kit he found a great deal of items the party could have use of. First there were a collection of wood carvings that an appraising eye could see were well done of local fauna valued at 6 gold for the total but could be divided up however youd like. (basically 7 silver and 5 coppers worth each). Larz As he found items that were interesting he set them on the table besides his growing kit. Next he found a shrunken head of a Goblinoid made of teak on a braided leather thong that radiated magic. A flask of Acid (lesser), a Glue Bomb (Lesser), an Antidote (Lesser), an Elixer of Dark Vision (lesser), An Elixer of Life (Minor), and a jar of Silver Salve.

Lucian signed in relief as the cauldron broke apart when his force missiles smashed into it.  A quick look around told him everyone was at least on their feet, even breezy who essentially got thrown into a cook pot, seemed none the worse for wear. "Well, that was interesting."
He looks over at Oriana and gives her a nod, "Yea, we need the mushrooms for medicine, as many as we can carry.  And thanks for the patch up, that sorted me out immensely."

Lucian began to look around the hut and area as well, just to add another set of eyes to Larz's search.  Afterwards when everything of interest had been gathered, the wizard began looking what they found over to see if he could determine any properties.

Very much out of her element, the city streets and shady taverns and inns being more to her liking, the bard remained aloof from the others for the most part, moving to a spot where she could peer into the cabin without bumping into anyone, seeing if anything within the place appealed to her.

During combat…: Satoru and Arielle cry out in pain as the lip snaps shut, shattering their arm into kindling. Holding his arm gingerly against his body, the small man looks into his Companion’s equally-pained eyes and worries…until a sudden blast flings the caldron clear, battering it around until it finally shatters. Panting heavily, as both are close to unconsciousness from the pain, they nod their thanks when multiple sources of healing come their way. Then, as combat ends, they huddle together and check each other for lasting damage.

They seem to be a bit distracted doing so.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
