Chapter 1: Hollows Last Hope
Brilliant Breeze perks up at selling the dog, and Lucians comments. "Doesn't have to be we sell it here. There are other towns." The concept of traveling appealed greatly to Breezy, it wanted to see the world and experience more new things. Traveling was for sure a way to do that.

Toryn's eyes lit up at the mention of sales. Should you decide to sell anything, allow me to be of assistance. He put his hands on his hips and puffed out his chest in pride. I am a humble trader of trinkets, tools, trifles, trash and treasure. Perhaps I could squeeze an extra coin or two out of the deal. After all, it is in this town's best interest that we be well-equipped for the perils ahead.

Satoru simply cannot help himself.  “Any of those made out of Tin or Teakwood?”  He struggles mightily to keep a shit-eating grin off his face as he says it.  “By the way, cueball mentioned that the reward for taking out the wolf-thing was ‘a magical axe and some gold.’  He didn’t go into specifics and I was a bit too concerned with getting the heck out of there before he started sniffing Arielle’s hair and causing an incident."

Breezy eyed Satoru oddly for a moment studying him. Then leans over to Lucian and just openly asks him. "Is it odd to smell her hair? Does it smell like something particular? Or is that an offensive custom I am unaware of among humans? I am still learning customs, and Laurel said it is better to ask when you don't know then not know. Which seemed very wise."

Lucian smirked slightly and replied softly to Breezy, "Most humans, elves and others like us, don't like unexpected physical contact from those they do not know. It's ahh..." He looked for the right words, "... something that we generally only like after we've grown to know and trust someone.  Some people who are untrustworthy and/or dangerous will sometimes try to force physical contact without the other person's consent as a way of intimidating or offending them on purpose. "

Breezy nods at Lucian, and says "So like animals when they challenge or intimidate each other? Interesting. Its so fun to learn how much you all share with the creatures around you yet ignore." The small leshy looks back at the others studying them more now with raw curiosity.

"It's a bit late in the day, especially if'n any one wants to make any special like preparations or arrangements afore our journey! I fer one eould enjoy one last sleep in me own bed and a finale home cooked meal afore we head out, especially not knowing ifn I be returning!", Dunndero says after briefly scratching his chin and twirling the end of his mustache around his finger with a nervous grin and glance around the group at the table.

"But ifn ya all in a hurry to leave, I pos I can be ready ter go in about 20 minutes!", exclaims Dunndero, thinking the group might up and leave him behind!

the consensus made to keep the Onyx Dog, at least for the moment and to wait until the following day to leave what ensues next can only be called revelry. the food is good. The drink better and the entertainment passable. Soon day turns to evening and then to night and then sleep claims the group as they move up to their inn rooms. Some are well into their cups, and others are sober but tired.

The following morning sees the fledgling adventurers gather in the inn common room to the smell of Jaks famous apple cinnamon pancakes to prepare for this first outing as a group and a rather large one at that as most groups number between 4-6. Ther think...theres strength in numbers as they enjoy the morning meal.

((ooc Ill advance to leaving the town after 5 people post))

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
