[[OoC: I'm not sure what darkness vulnerability means but I assume it takes extra damage while in magical darkness.  On the other hand, you guys were trying to find light spells to push back the darkness and your elemental can cast 8 daylight spells per day!!

Extrapolating from creatures that have vulnerability to light; it should mean plus 50% damage from spells and effects that have the [darkness] descriptor?

Admittedly that is a pretty rare descriptor; mostly just spells from the Vile Book of Darkness. So your ruling would expand that by a fair amount but probably not much when you think about how unique a situation that is

[OoC: Here's the map.  The top map is the upper level and the bottom map the lower level.  Anywhere there's an X or no coordinates you cannot move to.  FYI Selina's next 5' step downward will be into Tomeal's square (F8 on the second map).  Each step has a rise of 1' and there are 30 steps in each map so from A3 to B2 is 30'.   I have placed a red line on the stairs to break them up into 10' vertically.  Remember your light is only 20' radius from Selina so everyone can only see up the stairs to D-5 and down the stairs to around I-7.  {I will somehow make the lit area's more clear on the next map.  Ning can sense everywhere on the map.

[[OoC:  I am very sorry for lagging.  It feels like as soon one thing happens another steps in to take it's place.  First I was hit by some kind of cold/flu and now a vein in my right eye burst.  I've had bleeds in this eye before.  In the past it kind of looked like a black lightning bolt floating at the top of my vision that doesn't really affect my sight too much and it goes away within hours.  But this time it was much worse.   There are large black floaters all over the place and everything is very cloudy.   Looking directly at any light, like a computer screen, gives me a terrible headache.  It's been a couple of weeks and my eye is still messed up.  But I do think it's either clearing up a little or I'm tolerating the cloudiness a bit better.  Anyways, I'm going to try to post when I get home from work which will hopefully be around 3 hours.  ]]

[OoC: I have a question... Would Selina's heavy armor slow down her climb speed like it does her regular movement?  It would make sense it would because if it didn't then a halfling in heavy armor would actually gain speed from the Spider Climb spell.  In any case, she's not moving her full move so it won't affect her action.  If we decide heavy armor should affect her spider climb movement a 20' move in heavy armor would alter her movement to 15'.  With haste she would have a 30' move.]

Selina carefully moves downward 20' (and according to the map) she finds herself standing beside the flying Ning but they appear 5' before she gets to Ning.  [So it's up to Selina if she wants to stop beside Tomeal (which plunges Crozar into darkness) or beside Ning (which plunges both Crozar and Elphaba into darkness)] 

Simon drinks a potion and disappears.

The pup follows Selina down the stairs and stops on Ning's step (Because I think he's flying).  Tomeal allows the dog to pass and with the spider climb there's no danger of the paladin falling from Tegab squeezing past him.

[Waiting to see where Selina stops to determine Elphaba's action.  It would be nice to know if she can see.]

And Kubo are going through the exact same thing. 
He just had a major bleed in his good eye. 

I hope you've gone to an ophthalmologist in the hopefully have referred you to a retinal specialist

[OoC my intention was to have ning flying five to six feet above the steps so dog should have no problem. Originally I was thinking of having him fly over the open shaft so he's not in any way but then if you take him out he's gone plummeting to certain death]

[OoC encumbrance affects spider climb I believe so heavy armor should do the same]
