The First Mission - (Chapter 1)
Viego nods, and says to Nolan "You got it boss. I can do my best to stealth. I am not as talented as Aaron is but I can do pretty good."
---Marcus, Aaron and Khayman---

As Viego hauls the bound man out of the closet, the other three soldiers get a look at him.

(DM - The three of you roll Insight.)
Marcus glances over at the man as he watches over his brother.

Insight: 1d20+4 = 21
Insight: 1d20+8 28
Khayman just smiled, it was odd for him to do so, but there it was. His boys were well trained and knew themselves and each other. When Brand spoke up requesting Marcus stay behind, it was exactly what the Master Sergeant was about to propose.

Insight: 1d20+3 14
---Marcus, Aaron and Khayman---

Marcus and Aaron immediately looked that soldier over Viego's shoulder and recognized him.  Granted it had been almost a decade since they had seen Cord, but they would recognize his baby face anywhere.  He was one of the kids they started out with that had been taken away early on.  Looks like they had taken him for different training, but here he was.

It only took Khayman a few more seconds to recognize the young man as well.

---Cord---

(DM - Roll Insight as well to see if you recognize any of these people.)
Marcus blinked, "Cord?"  He narrowed his eyes, "Viego hold up"  Marcus walked over and took a harder look at the dude. "Hey Aaron?  Doesn't this guy look like a grown up Cord?"
"What's that, Marcus?"

"You recognize this man?"

Nolan looks pensive for a moment, then says "Viego, set him down a moment. Aaron, don't wake Sleeping Beauty just yet."

Then he addresses the bound man, "I'm putting your future in the hands of these two men. Answer to their satisfaction and you get to walk out of here, rather than get carried"

"Marcus, Aaron, find out if he's really who you think he might be. Remember, it may have been a long time, you don't know what he's done, or where he has been since."

When Viego sets him down, Nolan will remove the gag but leave him bound.
Well I'll be damned. Aaron leaned an arm on the cyborg as he took another look at Cord's face. I think you're right Marc. Looks like another kid survived the Daycare From Hell. It's been what, over a decade? He rubbed his neck and grimaced. My bones ache just remembering it all...

Aaron addressed Nolan. Cord was part of the same training facility we grew up in as kids sir. We were led to believe that only the three of us survived, but apparently top brass had other plans.
At Aaron's sharing of this information, Nolan rolls his eyes and finches his nose and frustration.

Okay, so are there are some gaps in their intelligence training

"Aaron stop. Stop Telling him  who you think he is. Ask him. He needs to be the one telling you the answers. Don't tell him the details, that means don't tell me the details until after you have verified them."

"Ask him something he would know that only someone who survived the Daycare from Hell would know. And for pity's sake don't tell me the answer within earshot of him before you ask it.

" Think of it this way, is a foe capable of building a Borg  it also capable of doing plastic surgery to help an agent infiltrate and unit?"

"I and trained to be suspicious of anything unexpected and this certainly falls under unexpected."

"If you don't think you can do the questioning without giving away information, clap your yap, and let Marcus and Khayman do it."

He may have been a little harsh but he's just now realizing how sheltered these boys have been, when it comes to dealing with social interactions. [/i]

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
