The First Mission - (Chapter 1)
Viego nods to the others, "I should be able to see it at least that should help... hmm probably all Lightning for this less collateral damage that way?" He says to the others, and mostly himself.  He cracks his neck in a mostly somewhat nervous way. Takes several deep breaths and then prepares for action.

Initiative: 1d20+4=9
Aaron stayed hidden and waited for an opportune moment to strike, ready to paralyze the thing with bio-manipulation as soon as it started getting antsy.

Initiative: 1d20+4 10
Marcus crouches down and gets ready to knock the thing back to whatever hellish dimension is spawned from after Viego has a go at it. He gives Viego an impish grin, "Well, Gotta start with something.  Luckily if lightning doesn't work you have more options."

Initiative: 1d20+4 = 6
---Everyone---

Everyone gets into position.

(DM - Viego, you're up first on the surprise round.)
Viego tries to calm himself and takes a deep breath then lets loose with all the lightning he can muster at the creature. As reaches out focusing his blast from both hands and his eyes he felt his left eye twitch and that blast veered off away from his target, and he let out a "FUCK."

Breath Weapon 1: 1d20+7=8
Breath Weapon 2: 1d20+7=21
Breath Weapon 3: 1d20+7=27
Breath Weapon 4: 1d20+7=27

As lighting cascades out from Viego's eyes and fingers, it blasts into the invisible floating hag.  She screams and instantly becomes visible to those who couldn't see her before.  She whips her hands out clearly preparing an attack at the source of her distress. Which is precisely at Viego.

(DM - Everyone else can take their surprise round now too.  Post up your actions.)
Marcus holds back to let the ranged attackers do their thing.  Since he is a physical fighter, getting into melee range would only cause the others to have to aim around him.  So he hunkered down and prepared to use himself as a shield for the others when the monster inevitably retaliated.
Action 1: Nolan is going to hang back just a step behind Viego and Marcus, and as soon as the creature appears try to discreetly cast Befuddle at it.

Action 2: He will actually cast Befuddle a second time just to try and ensure success.

Action 3: Fires his C-18 pistol at the creature C-18 Pistol - Strike [1d20]=10; Dmg [2d4]=5 MDC

Action 4: casts Armor of Ithan

As Veigo's attack went off revealing the horrific creature, Khayman turned his C-5 Pistol in hand, lowering himself to one knee, he took aim and began firing at the revealed beast.

Action one...Shooting C-5 Pistol: 1d20 = 10 Damage (MDC): 4d6 = 15
Action two...Shooting C-5 Pistol: 1d20 = 18 Damage (MDC): 4d6 = 16
Action Three...Shooting C-5 Pistol: 1d20 = 10 Damage (MDC): 4d6 = 15

Aaron stayed stealthed and maneuvered his way around to flank the hag and maintain the element of surprise in case the team's opening salvo failed to take the creature down.

(OOC: repositioning to one side of the the hag, far enough away not to get clipped by energy blasts. Will fire off a bio paralysis if the creature moves to attack)

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
